Only had one so far, so a bit hard to make a fair judgement. That said, I really enjoyed it a lot. It was what I would consider to be medium bodied, with a great flavor profile. A little before the first 1/4 ended I began picking up a nice peppery tingle just behind the creamy chocolate and coffee notes. It never got spicy, but it played well off the other flavors nicely, which slowly turned earthy and leathery, maybe even a hint of almonds. As far as the cigar itself, it had a great draw, and perfect burn line. I suspect that some time resting would really make them shine, but IMHO it's good ROTT.

A little rest is good for these guys, but they can become unremarkable if you hang on to them too long.

I think you'll find the flavor very consistent - that's pretty exactly what I get from them as well.

Tinypic works too but you don't get an album. You upload a pic, get a link and that's the end of it. You can't find it again if you lose the link. However, I don't think you have to open an account either, just upload and link.

Yes I was able to use it by bracketing the image link with IMG tags from the mobile Android app, which doesn't give you the choice of embedded links like the website does.

Well I ended up having two cigars today, it happens.
First one was a Petite Tatuaje and after dinner a CAO Flathead V642 Piston
The CAO's cellophane was so yellow, I am wondering how long they had this 5'er. I mean yellow too, and a deep cedar aroma coming from it. This was easily one of the creamiest sweet smokes I have had so far, I was kinda shocked to be honest. I will have to get a pic of the cello tomorrow and post it compared to a "new" one. The petite Tat was pretty good as well.

It's a monster...2+ hours but it burned perfectly and tasted great like other LaRdC. I got 2 at CI cigar fest this year. It's hard to find the time to smoke it.

This afternoon I had a 5.2X52 My Father La Antiquedad Robusto cigar.:stogie: I first became aware of this cigar from a post by Bob (allusred); he seemed to really like this stick so I went for it and I was not disappointed. I have been amazed about the wide variety of wonderful cigars that Bob smokes; it boggles my mind, but that is needed for another post.:shocked: I have been saving up for three months to buy more cigars and knowing that my palate does change, I have been re-visiting cigars that I had loved in the past and this cigar is one of them.:thumb: This cigar has a habano oscuro oily wrapper and after lighting it I got a hit of pepper, lite sweetness with a wispy fruit; the flavor profile was beautiful and subtle. Dang-it I still love this cigar. I topped off this smoke with a large cup of hot coffee and I had a cigar event!:leprechaun:

It's a monster...2+ hours but it burned perfectly and tasted great like other LaRdC. I got 2 at CI cigar fest this year. It's hard to find the time to smoke it.

Thanks for the info Tony. Guess the increase from an expected 47-48-49 Ring gauge to that huge 58 rg meant a lot more tobacco to burn, with more noticable flavour changes as well adding some to the burn time. May have to try one if I can set aside a long weekend to smoke it.

I enjoy both cigars and my pipe, but my palate deals with each in a different way.:stogie::pipe: When I find a cigar that I really love it is as if I was enjoying a beautiful red ripe tomato and a year later I smoke the same cigar and sometimes it is as if my tomato was not quite ripe. Now when I really love brand A pipe tobacco and try it again after a year or so I find that brand B is very similar to Brand A but I now like brand B better.:crazy: I have no idea why this is but my palate says so. So with cigars I find it necessary to re-visit my old loves before making a new cigar purchase. I have never forgot what an old time cigar smoker (Cigary) told me when I first came back to cigars and my pipe on the old Puff Forum " enjoy the journey".:wave:

This afternoon I had a 47/8X46 Natural Padron Delicias cigar.:stogie: I generally enjoy large cigars but this is an exception. This is one cigar that I absolutely love; it is chock full of flavor.:greengrin: Because this cigar is small the ratio of wrapper to filler gives the wrapper more influence in the overall taste. This cigar has been resting in my 65% rh humidor since 4-15-2010. After lighting this cigar I got chocolate, coffee, and pepper with a delicate sweetness that was packed with flavor. I would go so far as to say that this little stick is a flavor bomb.:thumb: I sat back this afternoon and listened to Dave Brubeck " Take Five" and sipped on this cigar; dang-it, it was so delicious. I topped off this smoke with a large cup of hot coffee and I am totally relaxed.:wave:

It was good. I smoked it ROTT so I am sure it will be even better with some age on it. I love a good box press so it already had an edge over the competition where I was concerned. I had some burn issues but I am sure that is due to it being over humidified. The flavor was great, nice and rich with plenty of spice and wood

The original (I guess) Asylum is a mofo good smoke. Not to be confused with the Asylum 13 or Insidious as I've never tried those. I have one more of the Asylum toro that is two years this month marinating in my humidor. I won a ten pack back in July 2015. I'm not sure why I say "won" when I still paid for them? Anyhow, about time to do a bit of arson on it soon........

Now that's the limited edition, how does it compare to the regular production?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. It has been 18 months to two years since my last JG. All I know is, they have never disappointed me. Maybe I oughta get a box!? This one is from an earlier released Limited Edition. I have had it at least three years, maybe more?
As far as I can tell, it was a 2011 release (don't hold me to this, not sure) but is being released again this year for 2017.

I picked one up on a whim this evening.
My local liqour store has a humidor that surprisingly is kept at a pretty consistent humidity from what I've seen. I haven't had any burn issues with any of their stuff and while the selection isn't great, they have decent cigars.

They had the Nubs for $5.50 so I grabbed one. I'll definitely try the maduro as well.

Kept it simple and tasty tonight. This guy has about 4 years age on him....they don't age well. They're much more robust and in your face fresh. On my second to last order I got a 15pk bundle of Oliva Factory Selects Habano Robusto for free.
From what I have read here and there they are supposed to be Oliva Serie O 2nd's, I have not had a chance to try any Oliva O's yet so I can't make an actual comparison. That said being as they were free I was pleasantly surprised, fairly medium body with notes of spice, leather and a bit creamy. It had a consistent flavor from start to finish, and a perfect burn line and draw. I am very curious to see how they are in a couple months.
