Just my opinion, but that Oliva V and Oliva V Melanio are damn fine cigars. I'll never be able to smoke any of these along with the Opus #5's that Old Smokey sent as I enjoy looking at them too much. The wifey said "can't you just buy more"? I think she's getting a little jealous as I don't drool on her as much as I do on these cigars. I've tossed the Boveda's out as humidity isn't a problem with these.......

Flavors of dark chocolate and black coffee along with a sweetness and the pepper presence only in the background through most of this stick. Do not let the name scare you off, if you can get ahold of this stick. I Highly recommend you try it.

Awhile back my nephew gave me a fiver of MC Special Edition 2015.Now these were bought in a "closing" sale
while he and his wife were on a cruise.Had the "Cuba" stickers and seal.First clue was the glass topped box,
and that none of the stickers or the seal were actually attached to the box.Any way, I figured I'ld age them
a bit and see just what they came out to.Well,I smoked two of them today and they are pretty damned GOOD !
Smooth and a pure tobacco taste.Kind of like a RP Natural but a fuller flavor.Not sure if it was giving them a year
to age or just the blend itself, but now I'm wishing I had another fiver ageing.

I haven't had the white as yet and I would agree that the blue is the best I've had (love an Oscuro). I like the red a lot too (you never forget your 1st!)
Don't remember if I've had the black but I think I have.
Still have a few blue lances & fat perfectos along with a few red fat perfectos (couldn't pass up a sale for the fat perfectos).
Oh goodness I need to burn some of the smokes that I have!!!

Thursday 20th April Fine Cigar. OLIVA Serie V MELANO TORPEDO MADURO...6.5x52. Old friend we'd not seen for a long time showed up at 4:44 this Afternoon.
Mickey, sort of disappeared for a couple of years. Seems he just decided he'd had it with overwork and cut out. Did a lot of traveling, but is back now. Left us wondering where he gotten to, not a word nor Postcard from him. Glad to see him, spent some time catching up. Figured the occasion called for a bit of celebration so pulled out this excellent Oliva V Melano that Cardinal (Tim) bombed me. Paired with a pint and six oz Arrogant Bastard Ale. I'll tell ya...that's a fine pairing. Quite a day.A long time and much missed friend shows up after a long time when we'd thought never to see him again. Yeah this was a good day, and the Oliva V Melano that Tim said he bought back in Jan 2015 was the right cigar to celebrate with. Thanks Tim, for providing this Perfect Cigar.

No pick since i pitched the cigar out my window. Anyone thinking of investing in the (Crux Passport) I implore you to look the otherway! Second go at this stick and like the first extremely plugged. Which even repeatedly stabbing the core of this stick did nothing for the draw which then led to burning hot with muted flavor's. I know Crux make some decent cigars the Passport seriously ain't one of them.

This was probably the spiciest cigar I have smoked so far, especially the first 3rd. It mellowed a bit after that and turned into a very flavorful smoke, my first torpedo as well.

RP catches a lot of crap because he has so many blends. Some aren't so great, but there are several that really are good smokes. The 1990 and 1992 are both great. The 1990 was his first blend IIRC.
The Edge is pretty good too.
I've got a 15th Anniversary and a Royale in the humidor that I haven't tried yet. I've heard good things about both of them.

Afternoon Smoke today. Jericho Hill 12 Honest Men Limited Edition Lancero ~ By: My Father...7.5x38.
Really get to appreciate the construction and skill of the roller when smoking this one.
Smoking slow and liking the smooth retrohale with no need to relight or touch up.

Burn time: Two hours and thirty five Minutes.

This afternoon I had a 5.2X52 My Father La Antiquedad Robusto cigar.:stogie: This cigar has been resting in my 65% rh humidor since 5-25-2016. This cigar had an oily habano oscuro wrapper. After lighting this cigar I got a hint of pepper, and lite sweetness with some wispy cocoa which was variable throughout the smoke.:thumb: This cigar was good when I first got it and now with a little resting time it was so much better.:wave: I topped off this smoke with a large cup of hot coffee and I had a wonderful afternoon.:leprechaun:

I enjoy it, especially since I am a sucker for a good box press. It burns perfectly and draws well, but not my favorite maduro.

I would say Yes! If your a fan of the Diesel lineup you should definitely grab a few. Lots of sale's if ya look at Cbid or CI which is where i got mine. $37 for 10 cigars.

The one in the pic I had to dump, due to an insanely tight draw that couldn't be fixed. I've smoked 3 and that was the only one that gave me any problems so far.

It was pretty damn good. Easy draw, good smoke production, great flavor, and perfect construction only needed one minute TouchUp after I set it down to answer a text. Trying to decide if I should order another box now or hope they go on sale in the future.

Great smoke. The White is no slouch either.

Late Tuesday Afternoon Smoke. H. R. Sublime...6.5x54. First one of these Sublimes from Hirochi Robiana in a while, as in the past impressed by the flavour changes/complexity of the cigar.
Great construction and very sharp burn line, plus no need for a relight or touch up, yup a good cigar.
