Interesting as I've only found the Zudzu to pair well with an IPA. I've smoked an Avo Classic which overwhelmed the hop flavors. I've been considering trying a mild smoke as these are, well, overly mild and not my thing on it's own. Maybe I should try an XO.

That's the only Avo I've smoked. Won it in a raffle August of '15. When I started, I didn't think the cigar would be able to keep up with the beer. The cigar taste grew and caught up.

That and the number of people buying up magic wands and fairy stuff - like they thought they were really going to work !!! Trying out an El Seulo tonight. The Terreno, which is a whopping 56 ring, not my preffered size.
It's a cheaper cousin of L'Atelier but it is not a close cousin. Thought early on I was putting this down but it did get better as it got smaller.

Ha, no, I didn't dress up, not because I think adults playing dress up is sad and pathetic, but mostly because corsets are uncomfortable and walking around all day with my breasts spilling out and my waste cinched in so tight I can't breathe isn't my idea of fun. Not to mention, it was 90 degrees out so anything other than shorts and a tank top would have just been masochistic. But I did enjoy the view! There were some very impressive bosoms on display, not to mention men in kilts which get me every time. :) Plus, any day I get to throw battle axes while smoking a cigar is a good day.

I didn't bring cigars with me either, I thought the same thing. But there was a booth selling them there. They actually had a pretty nice selection, I was quite surprised. I had an EP Carillo La Historia. But I didn't bring a lighter so I ended up having to light with matches in the crazy wind.

Just got a few new sticks in the mail today to try, as well as replenish some I was getting short on. Decided to try one that was suggested by a fellow bum:
601 Blue Label Maduro

First impression was good:
Slightly peppery at the start, but not overwhelming and a mild sweetness in the backgroud
Great draw and even burn all the way to the nub (which went in a cob to be finished)
A very nice looking cigar I might add

In the background you can see my other new addition, I finally bought a torch lighter (Vertigo Clear Cyclone Triple Flame). It's not a very expensive one, but every review I read praised it as being better then higher priced point options.

I had a Mark Twain gordo maduro last night and I'm smoking a Mark Twain Churchill this morning. Got these in a trade. I like the Connecticut wrapper Churchill better than the Maduro one - seems to be more flavor.

Sneaking out back to try to get in a smoke. Man O' War Puro Authentico thanks to Tombstone. Just a quick shout out to all who care for the sick and elderly as there's a place in Heaven for you! My wife and I are physically and mentally wore out from taking care of her friend. Friday we had to load her up in the Jeep to take her to her first physical therapy. By the time we got her outside, down the front steps and to the driveway she gave out and it's was all I could do to keep her from falling down. I had to lay her down in the driveway and we couldn't get her back up. I was knocking on doors to find some help. What a nightmare.....

Sunday Daytime Cigar. HR SUBLIMES...6.5x54. Can't explain this,slept from 12:30 AM all the way to 6:30 AM, must've something in the Coffee. Here I am smoking this nice little HR Sublime, dang if it isn't one fine Cigar, about perfect construction and as much complexity as one could ask for, about the same level of power as the HDM Havana, cool slow burning, no need for relight or touch up, that excellent construction right there.A fine flavourful smoke for certain. No more than handfull of these left to be burnt.

Burn time: Two Hours Eighteen Minutes.

I've not. This is only the second BXP and they where both Corojo's. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some different wrapper types for sure. Locally I've only found this. Connie's on the list now!

Picked up this Alec Bradley Nica Puro because I'd never had it and do like a nice Rosado wrap.
But sadly I only let it sit 3-4 weeks and it's still really wet and not smoking all that well.
May have to grab another and revisit much further down the road.

Edit: this really picked up as it went along and got pretty good in the 2nd and 3rd thirds.

Asylum Insidious from cheaphumidors, one of the more mild cigars I've tried in a long time. Burn is spot on good draw and,it's as if the cap is sweetened because I'm getting that sweet taste like smoking a DE Deep Dish or one of his other infused offerings.

Not my usual cigar profile, but damn enjoyable.. Thanks Kayla much appreciated!

Yeah $109 for a 20ct is a good deal on those. They seem to run that deal one or two times a year. Unfortunately with the major coin I dropped at the Federal Anniversary on Tats I was unable to jump in n it this time.

Saturday Afternoon Cigar. Arturo Fuente Destino Al Siglo 13...6x44? Not too certain of the Cigar size it's been some time since I've regularly smoked Fuente Cigars. And then most were the 898. First rate construction, good draw, with a great burn line.
Very consistent smoke production during it's longish burn time.

I have to admit I was a little apprehensive. I was almost certain it would be a bit too full for me, but was actually about as ideal as one could be. Plenty of flavor and rich smoke without being too assertive or pushy. Muy bien!

Come on Bob - I wouldn't do you like that. Tat PCR is an awesome smoke and 2 years age only makes it better !

And LOL to cheaphumidors for that great comeback. I could see the finger wagging with that "girl, please" :rofl:

Great full bodied smoke. Flavors of dry cocoa, earth and cedar in the final third black coffee in the mix. The pepper on this was much less than one would expect. A great smoke worth the $$.

Med/full with white pepper that hammers you on the retro! There is unbelievably a floral component which I'm not used to with AJ's stuff. Some nuttiness and a great draw with each one I've tried!

And as always a very reasonable price that's usually accompanied with AJ stuff. Picked that one up i believe for $8.50

RoMa Craft is one of the best lines of cigars I've had the pleasure to smoke!!
I have to explore the Intemperance line as it is milder that the Cromagnon & Aquatine lines which I thoroughly enjoy!!

I am pleased with these cigars. They are medium to mild in terms of N, but full-bodied in taste and volume. The ones that I have had tend to burn a little unevenly, but not so much that they become unmanageable. They don't get bitter or hot near the end either. Got these in a trade here on CB over on the pipe side.
