Lots of geese here in central OK at the farm, but the ducks are spotty. We have water, but no ducks. I did have 4 Pintails on the south marsh. I took a pic, but they're too hard to see. Enjoy that cigar!....

I like it; it has some interesting flavors/smells: Coffee, leather, earthy. It is medium in punch. It was part of a CAO sampler that I got back in 2012 that I am almost finished smoking. My favorite of the bunch so far was the Brazilia robusto. And after that was the Italia robusto. Both of them were so good that I smoked them to sub-nub in my clay pipe. They never got bitter. I'm impressed with CAO cigars.

LFD DL maduro, not sure of the vitola. Twas pigtail-capped, about 6.5" x 48-50rg. We got to recommendin' these to restomod for his friend, and I had to fire one...

I liked it... First one since I had a pre release ... Nice construction, draw, good amount of smoke and nice flavor... Burn was mildly wonky but that was probably due to the cold windy weather. Definitely worth a try.

I enjoyed it, I'm not great at picking out flavors but it wasn't real complex. Construction was good only needed a couple minor touch ups even though the wrapper split on me, but I've had that happen a lot with cameroons when it's cold out.

Temperature on front porch is 39 F. that means.
This Roma Craft Intemperance...4.5x50 is being smoked in doors where it can better be enjoyed, shivering in cold,windy conditions is not all that attractive to me. The Intemperance is one of the fine selection of quality smokes I was lucky to have gotten in the Secret Santa exchange. Very much appreciated Defetis (my secret Santa)...you surely put together a lot of goodness, way over the top.

The La Aurora was interesting because I only had my v cutter on me so I had to keep going around it cutting v's in it until I was able to get enough of the cap off to get a good draw.

I like the Esteli better for the power. The core line of LGC is my go-to of choice for body and strength, but the Esteli is about the best $5 stick I've had. Esteli is newer, Giannini's handiwork. If you like it, look for Serie R Black, and consider the Foundry brand

Old Smokey, AlanS, did some reading. DBL, or Dominican Big Leaguer, was founded in '13 and is headed by Francisco Almonte, whose father was a master roller for Fuente. Almonte was mentored by Litto Gomez, as well as Carlos Fuente. Sounds like an up-and-coming hit

Made the 90 min drive to my closest B&M today, Nice Ash Cigars.
Of course, my bud AndyCAYP was off playing in the snow but he did take good care of me like he always does.
Picked up a box of Las Mareas he set aside for me and had to grab another dozen sticks. One of which was a Curivari Gloria de Leon Gran Domino Tremendos that Andy recommended on my last visit. A short little 4.25 x 44 that I lit up and smoked in the shop while waiting on the wife. Good little smoke and I'm going to have to go back for more of these. I envy all you Bums that have a shop close to you !
Later I decided to make it a Curivari day and lit up a Buenaventura BV500 bestowed on me by our newest BOTM jp1979
A good day, all told.

E.P. Carrillo La Historia Dona Elena...6.125x50. The 50 ring gauge of this Toro looks slightly larger because it's Box Pressed. Smoking nicely,easy light and just right draw, nice one to relax with while looking at the light dusting of snow outside.
