Despite drinking an IPA and it being a little late with a brew day (~8 hrs of work) the next day I decided to grab another smoke from WNYTONY. This Travailleurs is the best damn bolder tasting cigar I've had! Why haven't you made me privy sooner Tony?!?!

Those and the cracker crumbs are great. I think I like the Travailluers just a little better. You should be able to find the little 5 packs for around 15 bucks.

In that case Habano just refers to the leaf variety. You'll see a lot of NCs emphasizing "Habano" seed when they market their cigars for just that reason. However, the conditions and soil it's grown in make a huge difference in flavor. For example, Habano seed grown in the Dominican will be very different from the same seed grown in Ecuador.

I'm beginning to wonder if I've needed some adult supervision these past few days, as the next couple as SWMBO has been away on a cruise and I've been brewing beer, drinking beer, smoking cigars, and watching lots of Star Wars and Band of Brothers movies.

Recently ordered some cheap small cigars and figured since no one was keeping an eye on me and I have time to kill before Rogue One begins I'd slide out of the door and try a new smoke:

The first 1/4" was a bit rough but it quickly become a well mannered cigar. Casa de Garcia seems to have plenty of fans and so I wasn't too reluctant to try these little smokes that are just $6/5.

Last but one. Quesada Reserva Privada...4.7x52. With a splash or two of George Dickel, purely to protect against Sunburn, this is one of only a few cigars that I can easily detect a flavour whilst Retrohaling close as I can get naming this is calling it Black Cherry. Whatever it is it's nice.

Ah, the Samuel Langhorne Clemons! How was it?

I am still smoking it, at about the halfway mark. It's pretty smooth and flavorful so far. It's staying together well and is burning evenly. Pretty good stick for the price.

It was wonderful! Which is why I wish I had more. Slightly sweet, chocolate, coffee, spice, earth; but very little pepper.

Incidentally, Akhil Kapacee of Regius will be at a local lounge this Friday. I hope I am able to go. WTH he's doing in the middle of nowhere Omaha, I have no idea.? In talking with the lounge proprietor, it was a last minute deal he was just notified of last week.

Warped (time) cigars. La Aroma de Cuba interlude...4x34? Only info I could on this was at a new to me site that described the cigars nicely, but said out of stock. The illustration of the tin of eight matches the tin I have, but shows the cigar with a peel off strip on the cello.The one I smoking did not have that band. The cello is yellowed. Little smell from the foot.
Pretty solid feel, but once cut and lit the cigar quickly warms and loses the "stck like feel" draw is good smoke output good burn line sharp, nice solid ash. not a harsh smoke, but not as flavourful as, a larger size would be.Smokeable,not very exciting. I've two of these tins, the second still sealed, it may well stay that way.Getting near the end, nothing changed, still burning well. An almost cigar review, as best I can do anyway. One question remains, how old are these ? Have to admit I've no idea how long I've had these tins. Found them along with a sealed tin of Davidoff long Panatellas, and I do recall having smoked a tin of those sometime. Anyone have any ideas on either of them as to age or otherwise? Just finshing the LADC Interlude now. No idea of the burntime. Do think I'll find something a bit larger to set alight before calling it quits for the Night. Sorry no pix.

Smoke slowly and savoir what this cigar is and is about,you will really appreciate not only the fine leaf but the skill that went into the cigar you are puffing (slowly).....no gulping.Sip like fine sippn' whiskey. If you are going to rush an excellent Bourbon,you might just as well switch to paint thinner.
There's a reason why the Lancero size exists,it sure ain't so's it can be lit and burned to ash in a a couple of minutes.
Case you haven't guessed, I do like this Cigar, more'n a little bit.

It was a beautiful day. We had a high of 82f yesterday and spent a couple of hours cleaning up the garden for spring planting. I have a few hours of work left before it will be ready, but plenty of time to get it done. We haven't really had a winter this year which kind of worries me a little. Oh well, worrying isn't going to change or solve anything. Life is good!

Good gar. Med bodied, i consider it a perfect match with morning coffee. Very earthy wood tones not alot of spice if at all. For me the profile is complex but very easy going. Bought a box a while back at a Black Friday B&M sale. Overall happy with the pickup. Not my everyday type of cigar, I'm more a full bodied cigar smoker but they have a place in my rotation.

Trying another of these AJF Dias De Gloria. This time in the box press. Used a V- cutter and this stick is bellowing smoke. Great full bodied goodness and I'm diggig the box press over the regular Toro vitola. At $7.35 could possibly be my favorite smoke so far at the price point.

It was 7 years this past monday. We are always way too busy during the week to celebrate so decided to do it tonight.

It is a good cigar, even if it did split from the foot to the band as soon as I lit it.

Smoked a CAO Colombia robusto last night; very satisfying, rich taste! Red Rose iced tea accompanied it during the smoke.

Now smoking a Sancho Panza Triple Anejo with more of the same tea. Heating up my Mexican food left over from lunch.

Round 1 was a Mark Twain Churchill bombed to me by another BOTL. First of these and not really my thing - maybe in a smaller size.
Round 2 was a AJF New World Belicoso. Excellent smoke

Graycliff Turbo G2 something or other - not sure, I threw the band away. It's one of Graycliff's budget line sticks, but not too bad.

Noon today. La Imperiosa Corona Gorda...5.75x46. On a quite nice day in february, accompanied by some nice hot Sumatra coffee, this Imperiosa impressed, flavourful and long burning, sharp burn line no touch-ups or relights required

Outta the Man O WAR lineup the Armada is for sure my favorite. Picked up a 5'er over last summer. Very enjoyable cigar for a hard-hitter. Which reminds me gonna have to look for those again soon.
