Peppery wrapper on this one. I may have discovered one of the reasons I prefer pipes over cigars: I don't really care for tobacco on my lips. Decent cigar though, courtesy of someone on here... not sure who anymore, it's been in the box for quite a while.

Smoked this Flores AFR-75 that Ciro sent me while watching the Bills fall apart this afternoon. Good stick and it smoked really slowly I think I got almost 2 hours out of it.

Go to Casa Fuente! It's in the Forum shops at Caesars.Great mojitos and great cigars. Especially the Casa Fuentes with the Orange foot band. They almost never have the lanceros, but if they do, gest some, if not the Corona Gorda is the shit.

I think they prefer the term "Women of Negotiable Affection" rather than hookers. ;)

This afternoon I am having a 5.2X52 My Father La Antiquedad Robusto cigar.:stogie: I have not posted in awhile here but I still have my afternoon cigar. In the last month or so I have been excited about the (new for me) blends of pipe tobacco that I recently purchased; the flavors have been surprisingly delicious.:pipe: Now that I have gotten some of this out of my system it is again time to talk about my cigars. I'm in Las Vegas for a few days for work. I went to bed at 9 pm local time last night and woke up at 2 am local time. So I hit the casinos about 3:30 this morning and smoked a Tat Pudgy Frank and Tat Cojonu 2012 Broadleaf while the casino decided to take all my money. At least I got a free Bloody Mary at 4:30 am!

Oh, and I've been approached by 2 hookers in my short time here. I must be looking real good. The last one told me I had a nice hair cut!

This afternoon I had a 5.2X50 Excalibur Legend Challenger cigar.:stogie: I went digging thru some of my older humidors and came up with the "Excalibur". This cigar has rested in my 65% rh humidor since April 7 2013. This cigar has a Connecticut wrapper but had ample strength-medium to full.:wave: After lighting this cigar I got pepper, earth, and a delightful spice. The construction of this cigar was excellent with no problem veins, razor sharp burn and great draw.:banana: This cigar now has more of an aged mustiness than 3 years ago. I really do not know how many more of these cigars that I have but I will be seeking them out in the days to come.:ask: I topped off this smoke with a large cup of hot coffee and I had a wonderful afternoon.:leprechaun:

Amongst the Can Cristobals, my top picks are. San Cristobal Guajiro (panatela. San Cristobal Del Sol Fireplug, wish he was still making those. San Cristobal Elegancia, Corona. Revelation, Mystic.Quintessence, have only smoked the Belicoso.
Haven't tried the Ovation line yet, have you smoked any of those?

You are absolutely right Bob! I can't think of a DPG that I haven't enjoyed. They are by far one of my favorite blenders. As I said, thoroughly enjoy the San Cristobal line. And his Blue label... 😲😲.
There was another thread asking if you had to smoke one cigar blend what would it be. We'll if I had to choose one blender, I think it would be a toss up between DPG, AJF & Fuente.

With you on not smoking a lot of Connecticut wrapped cigar...tho pretty much anything blended by Pepin is fine,s'long as he includes the merest whiff of pepper.
Like some Sumatra, Habano wrapped smoke I do.
Smokin Monkey's happy to smoke most any size cigars he can filch from your humidor, but expect you'll have noticed his sweet Lil Girlfriend really jumps on the larger sizes.
Know you must be busy right now, but maybe you can find some time to help those two practice singing Christmas Carols.
They do so enjoy going from house to house Carolling on Christmas eve. Certainly all in your neighborhood will on Christmas Morn be around to let you know much they enjoyed the Carolling and to express their appreciation to you for having sent that pair to entertain them.

Lets see-- 15 degrees when I got up this morning 21 degrees at 3 P.m. and down to 8 tonight, so NOTHING. the season might be over unless we get a heat wave or my wife lets me try a smoke in the garage with the gas heater. So lets hear it from you guys in Florida forced to use a fire pit cause it got all the way down to 60 last night or maybe later we can get pics from guys in California or Arizona on their back porch with a beer and 75 degrees.

Keep those pics coming and remember us stuck on the east coast of the cold USA

Picked up a bundle of these JR Special Coronas earlier this week online. They were on sale - $30 for 15. Trying this one ROTT and it is friggin' awesome. This one has a habano rosado wrapper. Could swear there's Aganorsa tobacco in it. I've read they're made in the AJ Fernandez factory. Hopefully they're all this decent!

La Imperiosa Corona Gorda for me tonight

Set alight at Noon today. Grimalkin Robusto...5x50. My all time second place favourite cigar from Don Pepin Garcia, trailing by a very wee bit the first placer.
This one's the penultimate cigar, of this blend I have...so the next will be the last one for me.
Still, I'm pretty certain the My Father farms, blenders, rollers,etc will be producing more cigars.

Smoked on front porch, cold, but not sure of the temp or humidity.... no problems with wrapper splitting or peeling,
near razor sharp burn line all the way until the nub was searing my toofs, cant miss any of this cigar.

Burn time: One Hour and twenty five minutes.

Only tried the Regius Exclusivo USA blue label, and loved it. The B@M carries those also. What did ya think of the black. Might have to give it a shot.

Yesterday's leaves to Ashes effort. Quesada Reserva Privada...4.75x52.
One of few cigars with flavour changes that are very easy for me to pick - up on, not so easy to identify.
Nice smoke on a rather cold day on front porch, not sure of the temp, Humidity was 16 degrees,didn't cause any problems,.
Had it been windy that might have caused some burn problems.
Would like to have this Reserva Privada in a 5.6x46 format.

This far in and it is a GEM... total flavor bomb lots of rich smoke. Finish is also very long almost to the next draw. Never heard of these before. Will definitely have to get some.

Thanks for the tip Steve - will keep an eye out for them. Got a box of these free during Famous Black Friday deals last year and really liked the size and smoke so i bought another box. At about $2.50 they are great change of pace smokes.

Wife got me a great gift but I was unable to enjoy it x mas day..... ended up sick as a dog! I will be saving this for New Years I think.

Christmas day,early. Crux Ninfamaniac Natural...7x33.
Had to get this one in before all the feasting started.
Have smoked only one Ninfamaniacs prior to this Natural , that was a Dark, burnt way back in June.
Without trying to smoke slowly the burn time was an hour and thirty one minutes.
Razor sharp burn line, great construction and some fine Tobacco in this flavourful cigar.

With Woodford to drink. Only about an inch in and it's awesome (insert joke here). Usual Fuente Rasin flavor, creamy a little pepper and like a cinnamon/cedar retro. :drool:
