Late Night or early morning. Grimalkin Robusto...5x50. For whatever reason I'm not overly fond of this size cigar. But it is one of my favourite Don Pepin Garcia smokes. Has some amount of age on it, tho the eyes are as alluringly enticing as ever.The skin, well ok, the wrapper, that's nice as well. Do my best to resist lighting one of the few I've left. Going to really miss them when they're gone, but this is one of those nights that I hope if not expect, will be made a bit better by burning this one. Appleton Estate Rum coming up directly, Cheers.

It's awesome. To top it off a rainstorm just rolled through and took the 96 degree day down to 76 with perfect humidity and no wind. Couldn't ask for a better way to relax.

Time to burn this one. Herrea Estelli Norteno Lonsdale Maduro...6.5x44. Very good looking box pressed Maduro courtesy of Merovius, part of a fantastic bomb of top tier cigars, this one with almost two years of added humidor time, many thanks Tyler for all of these excellent cigars, burn time for this Londale was an hour and forty three minutes.

Between work, getting a house ready to list and a 3 month old I don't have a free moment until about 10:30-11 pm each night. At that point I'm not about to spend an hour and a half or more having a cigar, then getting ready for bed since I'm up at 6 am each morning. My tired ass goes to bed! My wife took pity on me and told me to just go have a cigar and a drink. Hopefully, things will settle down soon. The kid is awesome though, so it's 100 % worth it!

It was very good. The flavor profile progresses nicely through the stick with several changes. I detected some flavor of nuts at times. I've had this one about 3 months and it burned better than the first one I had, which was a bit tight.

It's a good thing that these fly under the radar! Cigar Federation still has all of them. Hopefully in a few weeks they still will.

Blendlab JS650 compliments of DogRockets. Great mild toro with a perfect burn line all the way to the nub. Reminded me of the La Perla White Pearl with the barnyard-esque aroma of a Macanudo Cafe.

Today. Grimalkin Robusto...5x50. Smoked on a cooler day my top favourite cigar from Don Pepin Garcia and a top choice for the one cigar if limited to one per day, tho sadly only a couple left. Burn time an hour and thirty three minutes. Sure wish Pepin would make this one again.

Just started smoking a Flor De Las Antillas that i picked up from duty free from Canada a month ago.
Was worried cause the initial humidity was at 55. Now at 65 with the cigars still in the boxes.
No crackling, or at least not bad, so hopefully it will smoke nice.

So far no complaints. Not as good as i remember but not bad either

We will see....

One more Saturday nignt, cigar. H. R. 1845 Sublime by Hirochi Robiana...6.5x54. Two thirds of the way thru 2016 and thus is still my top pick for the best "new" cigar of the year. Surely as complex in terms of flavour changes as it is superbly constructed and a real pleasure to smoke. Now to lght this one.

Glad you liked it! Could have been just me, or the individual cigar. Allergy season is prime time and my tasters could be out of whack. Goes to show, you've got to try these cigars for yourself to see if you like them or not.

A few minutes since lit. Espinosa Laranja Reserva Toro...6x52. Noticing some shifting of flavours almost from the get go, can't put names to any changes tho I'm aware of them. This along with the HR and Flor del Valle, La Historia and Quesada Reserva Privada are cigars that to me provide a range of flavour shifts when smoking. This one should take me into the start of another day.

I lit up a Camacho Triple Maduro last night (old label!) but man I had trouble keeping it lit for the first half of the cigar, worst burn on a Camacho I've ever had. But still a tasty treat and man it packed a punch - that's a strong smoke!

Discovered. My Father La Antiquedad Corona grande...6.3x47. Thought I had a Flor De Las Antillas Toro hidden away,but either that cigar pulled one of those self assigned gender switches or I was mistaken, it was the La Antiquedad. And the La Antiquedad once *discovered* has been smoked. Now I'm wishing a few more of them were stashed and forgotten for a while. Yup, smoked really well over two hours and eight minutes.
Either heatstroke or Don Pepin Garcia has so many brands out there that I'm getting them mixed up now.

Aging Room Bin #1 for this morning's exercise. I really liked this stick until I looked up the price. Came with the Cigar Authority Care Package so thankfully it didn't cost me MSRP.
Tonight I'm smoking the Hammer & Sickle Trademark Maduro Robusto that was one of the other sticks in the package.
Great burn on this one but it seems really strong to me although the flavor profile says it's mild compared to the Aging Room.

Espinosa Laranja Reserva Toro...6x52. Maybe not the last cigar, time will tell, but the last one of this blend/brand I had. Total burn time was two hours and twenty three minutes.

How was it?

I don't know what it was, if it was just the setting or the right mood, maybe it was that I was trying to stretch it and taking my time to savor; but it was one of the better cigars I've had in a while. Notes of dark fruits; cherry, raisins in the middle. Very good!

Many will knock the NuB for being a gimmick. I've always thought they are a darned good smoke!

Set afire at one PM. Murcielago Churchill...7x48. May have been a Monday cigar on Tuesday, not sure, but thinking of Maduro Monday, and since I don't smoke a lot of Maduro cigars anyway.
This one of the original Murcielago line by Don Pepin Garcia smoked just great with a near razor sharp burn line , lots of smoke with a not too tight nor too open draw.
Total burn time two hours and thirty six minutes.One of those cigars that does get better with age.
