I didn't even think to check the temp before I went outside. Just thought it's dark bits gotta be cooler. I guess compared to the 103 high we had it was, Just not quite cool enough.

Right after pouring a Sweet Baby Jesus Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter, a couple of unexpected phone calls kept me from getting outside as early as I had hoped. So, I opened a Hop Job IPA and lit a Villiger No. 7 Sumatra. Thanks for mentioning these cigars allusred. It was thirty minutes of enjoyment.

Thanks for thinking of me, but don't think i will need , sure as hell wouldn't want the mentioned brimstone bimbo (betcha expected something other than Bimbo, didntcha? The wonderful Dr. Hue Ming is right at this time working to help me not only to speed up deleteing emails but to avoid hitting two or more of these key thangs each time I try to tetch wun. Don't want to give too much away until Dr Hue Ming completes her study. But looks to me as if some bit of wiring will be needed, if teach of th key thangs is to be located 5.3 inches from all others. No doubt Dr. Hue Ming will solve the problem who else would've been able to see that by making use all 48 colours in the giant size box of crayons each of them key thangs would be easy to locate on the four foot by four foot key board.

Far as the Villiger No. 7 Sumatra cigars.
you'll find a news kiosk that has Villigers for sale.
Get a pack slip it into a pocket and so long's you have a way to light them, your fix is assured for the day.

My first La Duena a couple years back was disappointing and I never went back to the well until I smoked one past week from Kayla. It was so good I decided to revisit another that I didn't love the first time, and once again I'm enjoying the redux.

Not to sound as if I'm complaining, but my humis are pretty full. Wouldn't have any where to store Villiger. I saw they opened a new office in Miami, which is entirely too hot for me this time of the year.

I am clearing out a little storage space by burning an Oliva Serie V, which is proving to be a very satisfying job.

Been too long since I pulled out the pipe (that's what she said)!

I just need to spend more time with the pipe. I don't have a ton of experience with pipes/pipe tobacco, so I tend to gravitate toward what I know, cigars.

On another Hot afternoon. Paul Stulac Classic Blend Phantom Torpedo...6.5x52. Last one of these Stulacs quote enjoyable as has been everything made by Stulac that I've smoked, as always sure do wish he'd make some in the Corona or Lonsdale or Panatella sizes. Hope he will be doing so soon, doubt I'm the sole one really liking his blends,who would like to have some in a smaller ring gauge.

I really like those with at least six months rest. I've only had the robusto's though......
I keep several bundles of these in rotation. The belicosos are 23 months old and I've got a bundle of Churchill's about a year old. I'll add another bundle soon and age them a year before smoking. They're a nice mild cigar with age for sure.

1502 Ruby Toro, courtesy of dinoa2 on the back side. This was a much better cigar, one I would smoke again.
And tonight a Four Kicks Black Belt Buckle, one I will smoke again, and again, and again..........

Last smoke on Wednesday: Matilde Renacer Robusto...5.2x54. Lit a bit before Midnight and at once reminded of how stout this Robusto is, a lot larger ring guage than my usual pref, but sure does produce a good deal of smoke, sharp burn line with an extremely flavourful experience.

Feeling the same way as Trace regarding this crazy muggy day. A Herrera Estelui Norteno Coronita...4x46. No way I could've handled a Churchill cigar on a day like this, unless smoking it in much cooler spot than on my front porch. This box pressed beauty that I'd gotten in a bomb from WNYTONY was itself a flavour bomb and proved that over an hour and a quarter.

I bought it in a lance sampler from someone here last year, no clue how long he had it before that. I was pleasantly surprised when I removed the cello, and man was that thing good.

Had a nice RP Cargo on the way home while chatting with the bros on 2 meters and later listening to some Sherlock Holmes stories on CD. Long DC area commute, gotta make the best of it!

RP Cargo is a good "driving" cigar - it's basically like a good RP but with half the filler removed, so it burns reasonably well and it's easy to knock the ash off.

Last time I was in DC, I was stuck in some kind of wagon wheel street system for around 4 days.....Everybody kept honking their horns, and I'm not sure why....

Thursday afternoon's cigar. AVO Heritage Lancero...7.25x40. A little difficult to fully enjoy in the way too high temperature at Noon. Burn line stayed very sharp over the hour and forty five minutes spent smoking this perfectly drawing cigar,loads of smoke and flavour right from the start,didn't overheat despite my smoking too fast. This was part of the prize from the Coffee & Cigars Pass received from Cardinal, who may well succeed in converting all of us to lovers of Lanceros.

I really like them. c.ortiz108 sent me one and I liked it so much I grabbed a 5'er of corona and robusto on Auctioneer. Good everyday smoke and pretty easy on the wallet.

Out of town with the missus tonight so sitting outside finishing up a Short Story. Man was it good. I know I brought a maduro too. It's a really nice night so I'm thinking Short Story maduro will be round 2 very shortly

On the golf course this morning. First an Illusione 888 then a Nica Rustica. The golf playing was rough today so thankfully I had good cigars and good company.

Driving all day so a Travailleurs and a Cracker Crumbs is all I could burn.
And then it was so late when I did get home I decided to just pack up a bowl and try the pipe side

It was great, I will def grab a fiver when I can. The first and last third were the best part, somewhere in the middle it lost a lot of smoke production but still tasted great. I meant to tag you in it but since 90% of my cigars in my humidor are from you I figured you may get sick of reading all the new mentions.

Never had an opportunity to smoke a cigar while in Kansas City so I took the liberty once I got home and unpacked and smoked the Oliva O sent to me some time back by BlueDevil07.

Starting off it was a bit strong, but it mellowed nicely by the third draw and was a great smoke. Thanks Ferrell!

I like those especially with the ruff wrappers..
I always like Sancho Panza cigars...not great but very good especially in the $3-$4 a stick price in box purchases. I got the box of these for $42 on cbid.
