The second of the Sam Leccia duo MAW'd by Tombstone & AlliChaparra .

A bit of research confirmed Tony's input about the Black having a Kentucy Fired Cured (KFC) filler. Without researching the White, I was thinking it'd have KFC and maybe the only difference would be the wrapper. Though, smelling it before-hand told me it did not, meaning it'd probably be a totally different cigar.

This one is very pepper forward; very spicy; whereas the Black was subtle, with the KFC added a nice layer, especially in the second half, where it became more highlighted.

Thanks again for the White, Ryan. It was a great experience with this one and the Black.

This is correct. He split ways from General cigar but sometimes sells cigars. From what I remember from cigar-coop. He had been running stogie Bird. Just saying if you ever get the chance check out the Luchadore

Went into Fame Cigar & Wine - its the shop of the Mbombay brand owner. He obviously features his own brand, but carries others as well. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him about the AJF month-long. It was like I asked for ketchup to put on my steak - LMAO. He started sharing AJF stories and poking him a bit.

Then he went to the back and "allowed" me to buy one of these:

It was actually really good, I was expecting it to be inconsistent at best but it burned well and tasted the same as any other smaller gauge Maduro.

It was a good day today. I've had this Davidoff Dominicana in the humidor for close to a year waiting for one of those days good enough to break it out.
It's a fantastic cigar. Much better than most Davidoffs. It actually has a lot of flavor, and isn't nearly as mild as the core lines.

Cool, is that a new tattoo?

It is. Good eye!
It is my one and only and I know it looks like the most basic-bitch tattoo possible but I promise it isn’t.

It is a copy of one of Kelly’s doodles from her notebook. We let her two sons choose their favorite from her doodles and then two of Kelly’s other girlfriends and I went last week and all got matching ones over our pulse points.

It is new and still in the scabby phase but I got a full shot of it this time

Our one and only graduates high school tonight. He's a great kid and has zero interest in smoking. I offered to share these with him on his 18th last July and got less than enthusiastic response from him. This is probably because I put my cigar hobby on hold once he became old enough to be brainwashed by the public school system on the dangers of smoking. I played along for the last 14 years. I'll smoke my half of the pair of birth announcement cigars tonight. I'll put the other in glass tube for him to keep. One more box out of the walk in.

As it turns out, we ended up going out to dinner as a family and I didn't get to smoke my half of his birth pair, but the story got better. Just returned from visiting my parents for a couple of weeks and my Dad gave me his cigar from Brandon's birth. I just finished tubing it up and sealing it with a P-touch label that has Brandon's initials and DOB. It's now on one of his most treasured things display shelves. On the plus side, we still have my pair of cigars just in case we want to burn them in the future.

Pleasent smoke, easy light, even burn, open draw,no harshness at all, smooth retrohales,burn time longer than thought. An Hour and eighteen Minutes.
The K. by Karen Berger cigars are a brand I've been interested in, wanted to try for some time, but never got around to acquiring. Big thanks to Mark Nature for sending Me a sampler of the K. by Karen Berger Connecticut,Habano,Cameroon and Maduro Toros. Couldn't hold off on smoking the Connecticut Toro since I seldom smoke Connecticut Wrapped Cigars Most of the Connies I've smoked seemed to be too light, a lot like smoking air in many cases.However this one was a fine Mild, but very enjoyable smoke. One more time, thank You Mark for sending these to Me in a way, way over the top MAW. Much appreciated Im looking forwards trying all these " New to Me" fine Cigars.
