Friday Afternoon.
DBL Formula Petit Corona 5.25x44.
Didn't note the burn time but this cigar really lasted a very long time,nice white ash, even burn, all in all one durn good cigar.

Not sure how much it cooled down after Sunset, but felt a lot cooler than the 91 F. temp in late Afternoon.

Brulee Blue from re-release- These have a fuller sweetened tip vs original that may or may not have been. Also had weird burn characteristic (see pic), that I assume was tobaccos burning a slightly different rates. Didn't really hamper the cigar or my enjoyment.

while waiting on some thunderstorms to roll through with some much needed rain.
Unfortunately, the storm line split and went right around us. Both north and south of us got a little, but just a few sprinkles here. Maybe have a few more chances later tonight.

At least the temp dropped about 30 degrees within about 30 minutes. From just above 100 to about 72. That helps!

Temp fell all the way from 92 F. to 89 F. by Nine fifteen tonight.
Long burn time: Two Hours and Twenty Four Minutes.
Cigar smoked was one of these.

Ha ha! I misread this. My eyes skipped the “and an”. I was thinking, man, where is she getting all these different Southern Draws? Never heard of this one. Strange name for a cigar, but there is a lot of that these days.

Then as I was scrolling through again, the grasshopper in the picture caught my eye. Aha! THATS the Eastern Lubber Grasshopper!

Did my first smoke yesterday and have to say no real complaints. Started with a couple chimneys of charcoal to get to temp them used straight maple cut from a back yard tree. Held a fairly steady 250-260 and fairly even cook zone with some broiler pans laid across the bottom of the grill for a heat dispersion. We'll see how it holds up and if it's just as good when the cooler weather hits but compared to the old charcoal BBQ I was using before it's great.

It's a collaboration with Punch. As far as I know it's just 1 blend in 2 sizes. I thought it was pretty good will definitely try again, I'm thinking with their brown ale.

Perdomo Doubled Aged Vintage 12yr Robusto Maduro

Very tasty. Had a toasty and nutty flavor and some wood on the finish.

Perfect draw,burn and construction

Excellent! I wish I could say decadent, as it is named. I had a few burn issues with slight tunneling. I don’t think it was the the cigar, rather the conditions. The construction was exquisite. Still 85 with nearly 80% humidity at 11 pm.
I think it would have benefited from dry boxing, but I don’t plan my smokes ahead. Stored at 66% RH

Had problems keeping the wrapper and binder burning. It burned fine if I picked up the smoking cadence. Typically for me, if it’s a construction issue, tunneling gets worse with increased pace. That was unfortunate as I didn’t want to rush it.

Dried fruit, prominent apricot, hazelnut, oak, mild black pepper. The pepper transitioned to more of a white pepper and increased a bit in the final third.

I recommend anyone smoke a Karen Berger if you get a chance. I’ve only had a few, and they were fantastic.

Listening to & watching a lot of Grateful Dead, a few of the videos I'd not seen before, real treat right there.

I found one of the shows, from 1990 I was at on YouTube a while back. It’s always special when you are watching a concert, that you were at. They also had a new live album come out a few years ago, it was a compilation of songs from different shows, one of the songs was also from a show I saw in 1993.

Thanks for smoking one for me, I’m hopeful I’ll be able to squeeze one in tomorrow. Last few weeks have been so hectic, but things should calm down in another week to ten days, at least I hope.

House, This whole process has been a nightmare. We bought a little under 2 acres last year thinking it would be easy to build if you own the land. Apparently that's not the case anymore, but we have that part out of the way now hopefully the supply chain issues don't affect us to much.

Burn was absolutely terrible. Granted, these just arrived yesterday, but my Humidimeter read 63% through the cap, so it should have been good to go.

Had to use the Fuente Encyclopedia (aka Old Smokey ) to identify this as an Anjeo 888.

I got it as a bomb elsewhere and ar first glance, thought it was a Queen B. Pulled it out today and noticed the head and small rg and knew I was off.
