Thanks to allusred I am enjoying a DBL Formula Petit Corona waiting for the thunderstorms to get here in a couple of hours. Had supper this evening at a Fried Chicken place that’s 45 minutes away that sits in the middle of country in Kansas. It will seat about 300 people and opened in 1934. I’ve eaten there lots of times over my lifetime and it’s truly wonderful face stuffins!

I smoked two amazing cigars today... a 2019 Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure De Luxe, and a 2017 Montecristo No. 4. Both cigars were :heartpump: amazing!

Solid medium to the nub

Perfect burn.

Draw was a bit tight, but not enough to risk using a draw tool on

Construction wiis, wrapper split a little and peeled at the halfway point, but binder was fine, so no big deal .

Fairly tasty. Smoke volume, the first inch or so was basically non-existent even after 5 or 6 puffs, and the smoke and cigar were hot .
The rest of the way was fine.

Draw,burn and construction were perfect

Definitely a full.

A little on the fence on these, but so far it is the only Tatuaje that I haven't really enjoyed much.

First cigar since Covid got me. Today is the first day in almost 2 weeks that I have been awake for a long enough stretch of time to smoke. I’ve been sleeping 18-20 hours a day and barely functioning as a human. But at least I didn’t have to go to the hospital which was a huge relief.

Very sad, this and the Signature Collection are both excellent and 2 of my favorite nc's and are now discontinued. Fortunately I have a full box of each, but really need 1 more of each before they start getting hard to find.

Looked last Night for the picture of this cigar, know I have the image but couldn't find it, tried again today Monday, still no luck....so it's sorry no pix.
This cigar has been sleeping for a long,,long time. Had planned to smoke it at a time when Alan S. would be smoking one of them and compare "notes/thoughts" on the experience.
Tired of seeing it languishing there in the dark like The Prisoner Of Zenda Sunday Night it was time to take it out for a bit of warmth.
Ok, ALAN this one really justifies the respect and liking You have Saka's smokes. One very nfine smoke, one I'd never of had the chance to enjoy had You not sent one to Me..

This thing had some serious yellow cello.
It was very dark when I received it from TJ SoCal gunner. That was over 2-1/2 years ago in the everyday MAW.

Thanks, TJ! Very smooth! I don’t remember these with all the cedar up front. Still has some pepper and spice.

Maybe it’s the power of suggestion, but I do taste sweet graham cracker, toasted marshmallow, and creamy chocolate. Does it taste like a s’more? No, but the flavors remind me of it.
There is also some jalapeño like pepper and baking spices.

JC Newman Factory Throwouts No.99 Churchill
