I’ve been holding onto this Late Hour, for a special occasion. So I decided to have it, this Saturday afternoon, to celebrate a goal I have been working towards.

I’ll keep it as short as possible, but wanted to share with my Bum family.
I have always been very skinny, standing 6 foot 7 & 1/2” tall, and weighing between 180-190. After I broke my neck ( C5 ) in 2015, and suffering a TBI in the process, I think I subconsciously “gave up” in terms of caring, about certain things. So I let myself go, and over the course of 2 years or so, I gained 90Lbs. For the first time in my life, not only was I overweight, but considered morbidly obese. I have several very debilitating health issues ( that I won’t bore you all with ), so the broken neck, just seemed to be the proverbial straw that broke the camels back.

So I made up my mind, this is not who I am, or want to be, I didn’t even recognize the person in the mirror. With that, I decided enough was enough. If I can’t do anything to fix the other health issues, I can do something about the weight.

As of yesterday, I have lost 95lbs, bringing me back down into the 190s. I feel and look like my old self again, and for me, that’s worth celebrating!

As I said, I wanted to share my victory with my family here. You’re all a great group of people, and I am grateful to be a part of this community.

I would post a before and after shot, but the only ones I have are from the shoulders up, though it is a stark contrast.

Great draw, taste and smoke volume but that's where the good things end.

Worst burn I have ever seen. WAY beyond any correction. Coal had to be 2 inches long easily, and it wasn't from smoking fast.

Immediately after lighting, wrapper cracked, peeled and flaked almost completely off


Overall, just a terrible experience and horrible first cigar of the day

Cold draw was a little tighter than I prefer, but certainly not and issue

Draw was good but poor smoke volume the first 3rd, improved after then.

Burn required a couple corrections but wasn't too bad

Construction was fine

Overall, a very tasty cigar.

What rg was it?

Even though the PerfecDraw is extremely skinny, I have had the wrapper crack many times with anything under about 42rg. Drives me nuts.

Fortunately, I too keep a couple bottles of glue on hand.

Previously, all I had was the huge Modus II which sometimes even cracked 50rg smokes. It is great on larger rg smokes though.

Excellent, unique taste. Ok smoke volume

Medium the entire time

Perfect draw,burn and construction

Only issue, smoke and cigar got fairly hot each puff starting in the second half.

No idea of cause, as everything seemed fine otherwise. Happens on occasion

Anyone who knows possible causes for this, please chime in.

Not bad. Unique taste. A mild-medium the first two thirds, jumping to full in the last third.

Great draw, construction and smoke volume.

Terrible burn well beyond any correction attempts

Update. Now Lazy You're the sole member of the Gentlemen of Distinction club. I've smoked the last of My 3 for 25 cents cigars. So from here on out it'll be the less pricy smokes.
