I have thrown 3 cigars out in my life. The presado, Novtella, and some 1$ churchill I could not get a drawn on. If I buy one myself its a Blind Faith, Coyotle, or a Magic Toast. I have smoked pretty much the whole line. The AB Harvest Select 97 was the first cigar I ever smoked.

AVO Syncro Nicaragua Toro (6 x 54, DR)

I really like the box press cigars. Not as strong as I would expect from a Nicaraguan cigar. Lots of creamy flavor, light spice, and coffee. Very enjoyable cigar.

RoMa Craft Tobac Intemperance EC XVIII The Virtue (4.5 x 52, NIC)

Nice medium Petite robusto. Leathery and nutty flavors. Another enjoyable cigar.

So far 2 for 2 on cigars today.

Illusione Ultra OP MK (5.125 x 42, HON)

Box split some years ago (2017) with another forums brother.

Almost a full strength cigar. Flavors mostly cedar, with chocolate, and leather. Great burning cigar. Another enjoyable cigar.

AKA (American Kick Ass) Nth Degree Optimal (7 x 38, HON)

Haven't had an AKA in sometime, looking forward to this cigar. Hopefully the rain won't hinder the lancero, their difficult enough to smoke sometimes without the dampness.

Had a large black widow living inches from my front door at the house I was renting. I just let it be, and eventually it moved on.

Was kinda neat to see in person as I had only seen pictures of them before.

Only one I have ever seen anywhere in Wyoming, inspite of them supposedly being common here

I LOVE insects and spiders. They all have such incredible adaptations, they are like tiny supermen each with a fun little back story explaining the origins of their superpowers.

For instance, moths are a primary source of food for many bats, so after eons of being preyed upon by their arch nemesis, the bat, some species of moths have developed specialized scales on their wings that act as a cloaking device that deflects and alters the bats sonar waves thus rendering them basically invisible to the bats. Those mofos have developed the power of invisibility!

Very impressed with the burn ROTT - took a chance, and glad I did.

I knew they were available on one site - Lakeworth Cigars - but they didn’t have much in stock, especially the smaller vitolas. Very surprised and stoked you found the smaller RGs vitolas.

Cattle Baron hasn’t got a lot of articles and reviews, but they were at the PCA this year. Almost thought they went under until I read Halfwheel’s PCA brand report.

Very glad you enjoyed. We might be rustlin’ up some more of these soon.

Keep thinking I've fewer Maduros than I do. "Found" a half dozen hiding out in a black ceramic jar. Do tend to pass 'em up and pluck a Habano or Sumatra wrapped cigar more often than not.

Used to have a nice close up picture of the black widow that showed off their very unique "symbol" on their back, but it was lost when my hard drive died.

Had to get very uncomfortably close for that picture since I don't like being close to such a large insect, especially a spider, and especially a super venomous one.

Likely wouldn't do it again, as I have seen the effects of their venom, and its pretty nasty for sure. Very bad news.

We also have pygmy rattlesnakes here too, and snakes don't bother me at all, but whenever hiking the wilderness in the part of the state most of them are found, I carried a .357 loaded with snakes hot, as I have no intention of getting bit by one of those either, as I have also seen the effects of their venom too.

Very common during the pre-work safety meeting in the oilfields to be warned that they had been spotted on the location and not to put your hands anywhere you can't still see them.

Have never seen one yet though.

Ok, I’m about a third in now, first impression:

Construction is good, has a perfect draw, good burn/char line. It reminds me a lot of the box pressed MBIIIs in terms of how the cigar looks. For those of you not familiar, with the box pressed Oliva MBIII. They are not the “prettiest” looking sticks, but they are very good.

It’s not a flavor bomb, like some Tats are, but it does have some pleasant notes, interacting. I’m gonna say light/medium body, at least at this point. An enjoyable smoke, but for the price?,,,well we will have to see how they are with some rest.

I know flavor/notes, are subjective. That’s why I try not to get to in depth about it, unless it’s something that just stands out.

Well, after reading Mark's cigar lighting tutorial, I said screw it, this work will still be here tomorrow and went to have a cigar. Its the first Warped Wednesday since Tony's stocking of coal was delivered, so now I can break out the new El Oso Blanco.

Described as a "reverse black honey" by some, this is one of the prettier looking cigars I've come across in a while. Let's hope it smokes as good as it looks.

However, my best friend and my husband absolutely loved it so when it came out on Disney+ I watched it 4 times in a row (with subtitles) and listened to the soundtrack constantly for a week. Why? Because I know the inner workings of my stupid brain and I know that I hate new things and I enjoy familiar things so I made myself like the musical by making it familiar. But man, I can't imagine watching it for the first time in a theater when there are no subtitles, I could only catch every 3rd word or so the first time I listened to it.

Like to keep some roughly cigarillo size smokes on hand, but am burned out on the Villager Exports, and the Montecristo Puritos, Partagas Chicos, and RyJ Puritos were very tasty and well made, but would prefer something that smokes a little bit longer.

Checking around it appears both are discontinued, and no one seems to have any stock left.

That sucks.

Guess I will have to go with the Arturo Fuente Cubanitos since they are roughly the same size and are very tasty

Excellent taste

Perfect draw.

Burn kept getting off, and had one spot about an inch from the foot burn through

Construction wise, a stem in the filler or binder poked a hole through and leaked a little air, but once I pulled it out and went the wrapper bit arose the hole and covered it back over, it stopped leaking.

https://i.imgur.com/b9dC9Eb.jpgI've been using the Cigar Geeks app about 13 years now, pretty much right after I started smoking cigars. I love it, and I'm obviously used to it and very pleased with it obviously since I have used it for so long.

Have played around with others, and don't think any hold a candle to it.

For me, It's just a matter of adding new cigars as they arrive, rather than having to add an entire, large collection like I assume you would have to do.

Wouldn't be difficult, especially if you can identify all your cigars by sight unlike me, just a bit time consuming finding them in the huge database or manually entering any that aren't in the database, which does happen, as its built and maintained by forum members submitting new cigars info then verified by the admin, for inclusion into the database.

Hasn't been supported in like 6 years, so it has the occasional glitch, but once you learn it, it's easy to avoid.

Its available in the Play Store for Android.

I believe that the iOS version is no longer in the apple store, but I'm sure you can find it with a Google search if you use an Apple phone for tablet.

Southern Draw Rose Of Sharon Box Presed Toro 6x50. Nice looking cigar wrapper extremerly fine, almost silky to the touch. Closed foot ensures an easy light, once lit the burn line is sharp and stays that way right down the nub no need of touch up or religh., Burntime: Fifty two minutes,rather shorter than expected from a cigar of this size. An easy to like cigar for sure . This Southern Draw Rose of Sharon from My Secret Santa very much appreciated Secret Santa Regiampiero.

Macanudo Vintage 1993 No.1

Definitely a very well aged cigar as you can tell from the date, and color of the cellophane.

Appearance was the ugliest I have ever seen. Extremely lumpy and wrinkly, which made me think it was dried out, but it certainly wasn't and there were no issues with the wrapper being fragile like I expected

Taste wise, a medium, but the only taste was that characteristic mustyness of very aged cigars

Draw,burn and construction were perfect though, no issues whatsoever.

Really past its prime, if it ever had one. Completely one dimensional with mustyness being the only taste it had.

Honestly would have to give it a very poor rating if I were reviewing it.

There was really nothing pleasant or enjoyable about it.

My apologies to the generous gifter, but I'm always completely honest in my short or formal, full length, reviews.

AF Casa Cuba Doble Cincos

Extremely tasty,* firm bunch but still a little squishy.* Very solid ash that hung on a good couple inches. Draw was perfect.

Unfortunately,* that's the extent of good things I can say.

Burn was badly uneven the entire time regardless of correction attempts.* Had a single bit of tunneling which didn't help any. Coal was a good inch long or so the entire time,* which tells me that it wasn't burning properly.

After the halfway point the smoke steadily got hotter,* and it began having poor smoke volume and acted like it wanted to go out, as it required several puffs to get any smoke.

Honestly,* don't believe any of this was a manufacturing/construction issue.

I just received them 7 days ago,* so I'm guessing that they are a little too humidified.

Being a bit moist pretty well explains all of the problems.

So, going to let them sit and acclimate for a month or so before trying again.

No one around here sells Warped, besides the GOTF, though there's a "tobacco shop" not too far from where my daughter has dance class that carries some interesting stuff not found at the local B&Ms. They had the Futuro and used to have another line (gold and red label - can't remember what it was). Well even though it came back negative, I have to wait 3 days from my last exposure and test again, which will be Saturday. I have been asked not to come to my family’s Christmas Eve celebration. My in laws are on a train to come visit as we speak so we had to book them a hotel so they wouldn’t be exposed to me and my husband is keeping his distance from me so he can still see his parents. So even if I don’t have it, Covid is still screwing up my Christmas

My family all still lives in Michigan, so we are making do with a Zoom video call on Christmas together like we did for Thanksgiving.

Its very nice to get to physically see everyone instead of just texts, phone calls and pictures, since I haven't been to Michigan since my Fathers funeral about 15 years ago. My neices were very young last i saw them. Now one is 16, and the other just started college.

Amazing how time slips by.

They are planning to come visit me in Wyoming in the spring or summer next year which will be nice.

Definitely lots of unique things to see and do here that you can't experience in Michigan, so should be nice

Early Evening Saturday.
If You find it difficult to read the brand and cigar name on the band. It is not all due to failing eyesight. The cigar is a" Black Release" one of three add on~freebies that came along with a recent order.
Yeah You guessed it. That is all I know about the cigar. Measured it's a Five incher, rihg guage may be something like 52 or 54, no way to tell for certain. Not maduro, nor Conneticut. My guess is Habano.Maytbe Dominican or Honduran. Burn line even solid white ash nice retrohales,good flavour, not simply one dimensional tho changes are subtle,little or no pepper, a mere hint of spiciness is all I noticed. Think it's medium body, medium strength did not overheat at any time. Total burn time was just short of Fifty Minutes, somewhat faster than expected. This cigar wasn't loosely nor too tightly packed. A well made,good cigar that I'd gladly smoke again, and will since I've two more to enjoy.

Very tasty, and a powerful little smoke at 4.63x40

Tight draw, even after a little work with a draw tool, but not too bad

Burn was stubbornly very uneven the entire time

Construction was fine other than being rolled too tight since I felt even resistance and no plugs, with the draw tool

I was hopeful a year + of rest would help these out. It’s not bad, better than it was a year ago, but not great either. I have one more, and that will probably be the last of these I have. There is plenty of other sticks out there to take up humidor space, and are better. YMMV

2016 Opus X Petit Lancero

Extremely tasty and a medium-full as opposed to young Opus X's that I have had recently that were extremely full, and just too much for

Don't know if the Petit Lancero is normally a little milder as this was my first of the vitola, or if the 5 years age mellowed it out enough, or a combination of both.
