They are actually predicting high 40's to high 50's here through the end of the month, which will be by far the latest start of winter I have seen in my 13 years in Wyoming.

I'm certainly not complaining though, lol

50's would feel pretty cold to Floridians though. I was in Pensacola for 9 months for my first school in the navy and remember the insane heat and humidity.

No offense, but I was thrilled when I got orders to San Diego. I had my fill of the Florida weather,lol

And back on topic, nice cigar.

Have only had 2, but really enjoyed them and added them to my bookmarks of cigars to buy in the future.

Fratello Blu (Piramide?)

Unsure of the exact vitola as I can find no mention anywhere about a tapered head vitola in the Blu line, but it sure looks like a piramide to me.

Excellent taste, woody and a hint of the unique aged taste I get from cigars in the 5 to 10 year range, but don't know the age of it.

Very smooth and mellow, definitely a mild, but really kicked into high gear in the final 3rd to easily a medium-full.

Perfect draw,burn and construction.

All around great smoke I will definitely try and find to get more of if I can find them

Anyone familiar enough with these to identify the vitola and know where to get some? Would be greatly appreciated

Entire wrapper came loose immediately after cutting, even though there was lots of the cap left.

Fortunately, I have a large bottle of glue and it fixed right up.

I really like the new worlds too.

Awesome you are able to go to the Ybor city festival. And great list of other cigar places to visit. Very jealous.

Did you use an app to locate all the places on your list, or just doing Google research?


Would love to visit Ybor city and check out Tampa Sweethearts in person, and hopefully get to tour the Arturo Fuente facility too as I'm a huge fan of both.

Also really want to go to Big Smoke in Las Vegas someday. Seems like it would be a great time. I really enjoyed Las Vegas the one time I went there for vacation. Not a big gambler, but plenty of other stuff to do and loved hanging out at Casa Fuente and going to the Davidoff store, both in the shops at Caesars Palace.

Will have to start saving up instead of always spending all the money I have left after paying rent here at the veterans home. Since I can no longer work and am retired, would really be a shame not to take advantage of the situation and go to both within the next couple years.

Sorry for the late response Sean, jrfoxx, completely missed this. No special app; just located where we are staying and searched "Cigar Lounges" in Nearby on Google Maps. The Big Smoke in Vegas is also on my bucket list. Hopefully one of these days. Also don't forget about our "Orgy" fest that happens at the same time as the Cigars International festival. Hopefully 2022 will allow this to happen, unlike 2020 and 2021.

Have been pleasantly surprised by the lack of draw issues with the Lanceros I have had, after having shied away from them for fear of it, until recently getting some in bombs and finally trying one after many years.

Have had way more issues with PC's than under 40rg smokes oddly enough

The 107's I have had have been great too.

Smoked while out walking in the park on this really nice December day, plenty of warm Sunshine, I'm not a big fan of Maduro wrapped cigars, could've smoked one or two more of these while out there.
Natch, only took the one with Me. Have to blame the wind for this. Been so dang windy of late I've stopped carrying two or three cigars about, the enjoyment factor is much lower when it's a struggle to keep a cigar burning properly. This Afternoon was a Churchill sized cigar kinda Day. An, I missed out.

Joya de Nicaragua Clasico No. 1 Claro (6.625 x 44, NIC) Early this am, mild cigar with a light spicy flavor. Was great with my morning coffee.

La Palina Black Label Toro (6 x 50, DR) More in my wheel house, semi full strength, spice and a hint of chocolate. My holiday libation of choice Dego Red. An excellent cigar, hope I can get to sleep though!!!!

I’m enjoying this Hemingway Classic, while trying to decide what to smoke for my birthday cigar Sunday. I wanted an Opus X Angel’s Share, but just couldn’t nail anything less than a box down ( not meant to be ) I have 2 Davidoff Late Hour sticks, I’ve been holding onto for a while. I’m thinking that one of them may be nice, instead.

Know this is not going to be much use in terms of explaining that "numbing" noted in the first few puffs. Noticed it twice recently, each time the foot of the cigar was too wet and both times that harshness lasted only for a short while. The cigars smoked ok the rest of the way.

Nicotine has a numbing effect. I experience this sometimes, but more typically toward the end of either a strong or larger cigar.

I've noticed that I have way more draw issues with PC's than Lanceros for some reason. In fact, haven't had a draw issue with any Lancero yet, but about half the time with PC's. Seems strange.

You’ve never had a Southern Draw?! They are phenomenal, every single one I’ve had has been a treat. The Cedrus is one of my favorites. I get great balance of pepper, cedar, and leather with a smidge of sweetness on the finish.

Very cool, Ciro . Thanks for sharing and hope the vacation is going great. Might need a good report on where to go and what to smoke in Ybor. We've been thinking about doing Disney for Christmas, and if it happens, hopefully there'll be a chance to make a quick run to the better spots for some loot.I really would love to visit Ybor City someday and hopefully even tour the Fuente facility.

Very tasty, maybe just barely a mild-medium. Very mellow and smooth

Excellent draw and construction

Burn required 1 correction early on, and wrapper peeled a little at the foot, but neither was a big deal.

CI JC Newman Factory Throwouts No.99 Churchill

A nice mild-medium. Smooth, mellow and flavorful.

Remainder the same all the way to the nub.

Draw and burn were perfect, construction wise, the wrapper peeled a little bit at the head after cutting, but no biggie. That's why I have cigar glue. Happens to the best of cigars on occasion.

Drew Estate Factory Smokes Sun Grown Toro

Very tasty.

Very easy draw with lots of smoke volume

Construction wise, it was extremely soft the entire length

Burn was pretty badly uneven the whole time. Gave up trying to correct it.

Still, nothing really major that affected the enjoyment

Pretty good smoke for the price imho.

Going to need a report on that one.Pretty good. Tight draw, and probably still very wet. Burned well, but didn't get a lot of volume off regular draws.

Interesting and unique. Many different flavors going on, though not a lot of body (probably due to being wet). Thought of the Melanio. Thinking back on the Fiat Lux, this one seems fitting in the AP lineup. The 3/3 was damn near unsmokable. Enjoyed what I got overall.

Told myself not to buy and smoke new releases during B&M visits, as almost all recents were very wet. I thought I'd stay away from this one due to the RG of 58, but I would come back to it.

Was hanging and chatting with some friends, so I didn't really focus in. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much Ciro for this tour, great and very interesting pictures. Brought back memories of smoking the Cruesta Rey cigars as far back as 1950. My memory of them is that they were a wee bit better than the Berings of the day. Also, had the most attractive and classist cigar bands of the fifties and even into the sixties. Again thanks Ciro for this window into the past.

Getting extremely tired of all the traffic. Very hard to enjoy a cigar while driving. I'm not a Scrooge, but some people are idiots while driving. Weaving back and forth in traffic just to get 1 car ahead of someone at a light. Enjoy the holidays not the ciaos. Actually 1st cigar in a week or better! Late night smoke.
