How do u like it? I have a 5-pack variety sampler of La Barba resting

It is good but not a whole lot of subtlety, it is my 3rd favorite of the La Barba line. I prefer the red and purple over the Ricochet.

The R44 is up there when it comes to my favorite Fuente sticks. If you haven’t already give their Casa Cuba line a try. Tony turned me onto them a while back and they are fantastic. I’m a proud Fuente “whore” I guess you could say, I have yet to find one I didn’t like.

How's the Sparkle smoke? looks like an interesting cigar in a good size.
Edit: That question was intended for WNYTONY, posted in wrong place, as I often do. Done gone and done again. Sorry some.

My notes show I had a corona size and did not like it at all, but a Firecracker size and now this Sparkle were both really good smokes.

Not bad. A little bit bitter, especially the first couple inches, but faded a fair bit after that.

Have a few *notes*, not a review,that I'll get up shortly.
Ok, here goes: Nice start, easy light. Smoke output, lots of. Not bitter,no pepper, spice or nico blast when first lit...this is good.
Taste reminds Me of some Churchill cigars smoked a long time ago, cant recall the brand, it's not a taste that I have gotten from any other cigar recently. Like it a lot.
End of first third what I think some describe as some sort of nuttiness taste peanut? something I've never noticed when smoking any cigar, Just do not get flavour shifts so this is a surprise.
About at end of the first third I'm reminded of the cigar that one might smoke while listening to a ballgame on the radio...remember Radio? or out fishing, checking out the trees in an orchard.
This is not one I'd label as a Yard Gar. Much better than that, tho not the OpusX you'd select to celebrate an important date. To wrap up this is a cigar I'd like to have some of to smoke from time to time.
If anyone has read this far, remember I did say I can't do cigar reviews.

I took in in late July.
Now we wait and see if I have to take it again. lol
I do not feel good about it. It was brutal.

At 1st I was disappointed!
Very little smoke production and an awful burn with little flavors.
But it woke up after correction!
Nice burn line, nice flavors, nice long finish.held onto the ash for about 2" before it fell into my lap.

2021 release with San Andreas Wrapper.

I really liked this one. Lots of darker notes; espresso, dark chocolate. First half was very black peppery. Final half, the pepper diminished allowing more of a caramel to show through.

Yes I have: One Night Stand, Pepper Cream Soda, Plume, Land o Snakes Oscuro, and Sympatico. The only annoying thing is that very few of them come in small ring gauges which I prefer. Other than that, delicious!

Just did some quick reading on these.
Very interesting that its essentially a strong/full version of the Hemingway line.
Very interesting.

Definitely not something I will be trying as I don't care for strong smokes anymore, which I'm guessing will save me a lot of money as I imagine these aren't cheap
