Just FYI, Superior Cigars (https://www.superiorcigars.com/) has Don Carlos Personal Rreserve in stock now. They are listed as out of stock online but you can call and get them. $350 a box with free shipping. Marked up a bit but not too bad IMO. Get them before they are gone!

Hey Jesse, have you compared the Personal Reserve and Eye of the Shark? Opinions on both?

Eye of the shark is a little better. In my opinion. But you can't go wrong with either

Thanks Brian. I have heard 1 person comment on how great the DCPR is but hadn't read much from anyone who had smoked the EOS.

I loved the EOTS, I haven't had the Personal Reserve yet, the box coming tomorrow will be my first. Everything has lined up perfectly for me for tomorrow so one will be smoked ROTT. I'll update my thoughts once it has been nubbed.

Thanks Justin. I knew you really liked the PR and didn't know if you had tried the EOS yet. I just pulled an EoS and cut it. Now grabbing the fire.

Smoked the EoS that you sent me, not a bad smoke, but PR was better for me. Enjoy buddy

It's strange how the band on the EoS doesn't really fit the cigar. Looks like they used a small piece of tape to join the ends. To me the tobacco used in the best Fuente cigars is incredible. This one is no different IMO. I have only begun on this one.

So now that you got the Shark smoked, PR needs to go tonight. No comparison like back to back comparison

And this is exactly why I never compare one super-premium against another. They're both equally exceptional cigars and stand on their own.

Thanks for sharing this Jesse!

That's why they make so many different cigars

Yup, I am gonna smoke the PR this evening after supper. I really did enjoy the EoS, and if the PR is better I am in for a treat. Thanks Justin!

About halfway a through the PR, I think it like it just a hair better. Small sample size ( one of each so far) an like Don said. Both are exceptional. I'd take either to smoke as my desert island cigar any day!

After having a sore a scratchy throat for a few days I finally got to smoke a PR last night. It was a great smoke and I am with most everyone above, I liked the PR better than the EoS, but enjoyed both a great deal.
