They are pretty darn good. I don't know if they are my favorite Anejo...(haven't tried all of them) but they sure are in the front running. I need to pick up a few more to restock the supply.

Ok, I know the ones you are talking about. I saw those online. I got 2 of the Oro Oscuro a couple of days ago. A #4 and Robusto. Haven't smoked one yet, but am looking forward to doing so.

I'm a pretty good fan of Hemingways and the Anejos. Only had a couple Opus and honestly they didn't blow me away. The regular Chateau sungrown are good too though. Yeah, I guess I'm a Fuente lover.

Last of a batch I got from my father in law 4-5 years ago.
Every one I've had (1 a year) has been better than the last.
So far thats holding true with this one.

I swear the wrapper has gotten way darker in this time.

I have a local cigar friend who belongs to another forum. Yesterday was his birthday and I am meeting him at our new and only cigar lounge to be my guest and enjoy a cigar. Gonna take a couple of Opus X Petit Lanceros to enjoy. Tonight is also poker night which usually draws a good raucous fun lovin crowd. Should be fun!

Just barely squeaking in on Friday, a nearly 2yo Opus X, thanks to gordo1473. Thanks, Brian! It is awesomeness in leafy form. Cautiously optimistic that my purple fingers and ruined wooden spoon and stockpot paid off. At $60 a pair, I'm not going to buy anymore emt pants. So, off to Hobby Lobby for poly dye. Draw and Burn were excellent, no construction issues. So, mine were dried out enough obviously. Tons of smoke output, a sweet cedar/herbal profile and good down to the nub.

It's really Fing good!! If you smoke it, you won't be disappointed. I honestly think I could retro the whole thing. Dark chocolate, baking spice like cinnamon, a bit of raisin flavor and a nice creamy sweet finish. Opus strength is there so eat well.

My offering came by the way of a bombing from Bernardini and a treat to say the least.
A 2014 Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva No. 46
Paired with the last of my Millstone chocolate velvet coffee and 5/17/1977 Memorial Coliseum, U of Alabama Dead show. A perfect Friday after dinner treat, if I do say so myself.
Loved the Anejo Andy! Had wonderful dark roast and coco notes, as well as a bit of spice, perfect draw, no harsh spots, consistent flavor to the nub and a nice looking cigar to boot.

Been a little while. The Empire State Bldg the dominating feature of the N.Y.skyline,The Jerry Lester Show, with... Dagmar, on DuMont TV.
Smoked a few boxes of the 8-5-8 and much more recently some of the Hemingway Short Storys.
Cant be certain, may've had one of the Mag R 44 cigars.
Seeing they fall nicely into your favourite size range, and you DO speak highly of them, I've no choice but to try one.
