Hey All,

This may be a random questions but I am interested in picking up a few coffins. Nothing super rare or anything, just something fun to display and collect, at least to start.

My local shop has a handful of different coffins, some Toast Across America stuff, some liberty series stuff, some Tatuaje stuff...

So give me some recommendations and reasons behind them. And if you buy them to smoke or look at lol

Thanks for the help!

I have done the TAA for several years. It is a good cause and the cigars are tasty. I have some set back from the years kids were born as well. The Camacho offerings don't go to charity, but they are solid cigars.

I have a ton... from Cohiba Luxury Collection, Opus X A, Illusione Epernay, Ave Maria Reconquesta & Divina, Macanudo Estate Reserve, Perdomo Silvio, Arginese Uno, Toast Accross America, and I'm sure more that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head.

I think they look amazing in the humi.

If you want anything in a coffin let me know. I can usually source just about anything.

Thanks for the help, mostly just trying to narrow down my search for where to start. Trying to figure out which coffins to target and why.

Do you have a particular favorite? Or one you pick up yearly?

Where do most of y'all source your coffins? Local B&M or online?

Locals. I have 3 really good shops near me plus CI is only an hours drive. The Silvio coffin is a unique size to the cigar. I thought it was by far the best one. If I remember right it was tapered.

If you can get one get the Old man and the C. With some age it is a great smoke and great conversation piece. Aside from that the Illusione coffin that jpalamar mentioned looked awesome when he posted a pic of that. In my opinion you can never go wrong with an Illusione unless its an Ultra, fuck the Ultras.

the TAAs are nice since the profit goes to charity and i hear they age really well as well and some have unique coffins depending on the year. the Viva Republica Culebra has a cool little coffin and a really cool cigar inside as well if you can still find them. I also have to second the Tat old man and the c. another unique cigar coffin and cigar. if you want to consider them coffins the Liga A Manifisto and Sweet Jane As are all cool too

I actually like the taste of the Ultras just not the way they burn.

I like the TAA because of the charity angle, and the sticks are really good.

I have a Tat Old Man and the C that I just haven't found the time to puff on yet. But I've had Tat Black lanceros and they're delicious.

My local store has the Viaje collaboration 2015, the 2015 My Father Limited Toro, at least 1 Toast Across America box, and I'm pretty sure an Old man and the C.

I think I'll start with the Old Man and the C...
But would like to eventually collect them all!

Keep the suggestions coming!

I got a fiver of the Camacho Liberty 2014 and enjoyed my first one yesterday, in honors of Veterans day. I bought them to try and think the coffin/humidifier idea would be cool for my 2 Wineadors
