Ok folks, it's getting to be that time of the month again! Time to get out your thinking pipes, set down and puff a bowl and think about what tobacco you want to nominate for the TOTM! This being November, we have two very important holidays to celebrate: Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving. Since November is all about giving thanks, and we are all definitely thankful for our veterans, let's make this month's theme a tobacco you are thankful for!

Since we had a tie for 2nd place last month we have two very good tobaccos to start off with (both of which I am VERY thankful for!):

Squadron Leader (Bright and Dark Virginias blended together with Latakia and Turkish leaf to make this a cool medium bodied smoke.) - Bright and Dark Virginias blended together with Latakia and Turkish leaf to make this a cool medium bodied smoke.

Samuel Gawith Navy Flake (http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/2218/samuel-gawith-navy-flake) - Storm-tossed seas, a howling wind, a ship with full sail beating into the wind and Jolly Jack Tar at the helm with his trusty pipe. Images which are conjured up whilst smoking Samuel Gawith's Navy Flake. A traditional offering of Virginias, pressed with just the right amount of Latakia and flavoured with Rum. Medium strength.[/QUOTE]

Well, my top pick is already in the list (Navy Flake), so I'll offer up another SG product.

Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake is a great virginia, and the bulk box is an amazing price. I am very thankful for this one.

A great addition and definitely one I am thankful for as well! Can we get one or two more? I'd like to get the poll up this evening.

Mac Baren Symphony (http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/3007/mac-baren-symphony) - A very harmonious Ready rubbed tobacco dominated by the selected Burley tobaccos and with a minor part of Virginia and the original Mac Baren Cavendish. In this blend the tobaccos are adjusted to bring out the slight natural sweetness and with the tender note of chocolate - which is found in all excellent Burley tobaccos.
