Out of those 2 what one is the LEAST black pepper? Any help? I have some JD Howard but I cannot for the life of me remember what the profile is and the reviews are all over the map. And I dont think I have ever had a Headley Grange that I can remember but I am a big fan of most all CH stuff. Out of the 2 what is your guys favs.... I'll drop a C note on a box just out of speculation... AND A KILLER DEAL LOL.

Cheers

FWIW Jay I'm a fan of all things Crowned Heads and I'd take the Headley Grange over JDH.
They only have the smaller sizes on sale (of HG) and I like them both but I think the Estupendos is considered the best of the line.
Just my 2 cents and oh by the way if you're interested in a splitter on one of those HG boxes I may know a guy........

What one would you like to split? I'm down with that. I'll place the order and I'll get a bundle of something too for the free shipping option as well. I have the 44 rg one in my cart but I can change that if you have a preference, because I absolutely do not have one myself.

Hey wait - who said it was me ????
Ok - it's me. The 44 Eminentes is fine with me - have a few of the Hermosos in my box already.
And if you want to try them first and wind up keeping them - no worries.

The Headley probably has less spice though the JD Howard isn't too peppery either. The smaller RGs are heavy on leather and cedar IMO

Killer Cole, thanks man! I bought the 44rg Headley Grange I thought it would be closer to the famed "Drumstick" in flavor as its the closest to the RG. I'll let ya know what I think of them.

I can't figure out the JD Howard. The first one I smoked was incredibility salty. It was like putting a circa 1970's salt encrusted Slim Jim in my mouth. Basically rock salt with smoke to boot. The second one had more of a pepper/spice and cedar/wood taste that was better. I have no idea how a cigar could be so salty tasting, but it was like the difference between a salt and pepper shaker?...
