Well it's that time again. Time to nominate a great tobacco for the TOTM. Since this is October, let's try nominating something you like to smoke when you're sitting by the fire on a crisp fall evening. Or when you're scaring the kids while they're trick-or-treating!
We will get things rolling with September's runner up:
Squadron Leader (Bright and Dark Virginias blended together with Latakia and Turkish leaf to make this a cool medium bodied smoke.) - Bright and Dark Virginias blended together with Latakia and Turkish leaf to make this a cool medium bodied smoke.[/QUOTE]

Alright! Great addition! Let's get a couple more!
Squadron Leader (Bright and Dark Virginias blended together with Latakia and Turkish leaf to make this a cool medium bodied smoke.) - Bright and Dark Virginias blended together with Latakia and Turkish leaf to make this a cool medium bodied smoke.
Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired (http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/5214/mac-baren-hh-old-dark-fired) - A bold flake of dark-fired burleys in a well balanced unity with Flue-cured Virginias. This flake is Hot Pressed, meaning that during the pressing, heat is added by steam to the tobaccos which causes the tobacco to intensify the marrying process giving us a bolder tobacco. The robust, earthly flavour of the dark-fired burleys shines through in the taste, and you will experience a deeply satisfying smoke indeed.

Can't even think of anything that could outvote HH ODF at this time of year. Why don't we just pre-emptively call it the winner. ;)

We could add Samuel Gawith Navy Flake.
You might not think so, but the rum and smokiness are nice in the cooler weather.

Samuel Gawith Navy Flake (http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/2218/samuel-gawith-navy-flake) - Storm-tossed seas, a howling wind, a ship with full sail beating into the wind and Jolly Jack Tar at the helm with his trusty pipe. Images which are conjured up whilst smoking Samuel Gawith's Navy Flake. A traditional offering of Virginias, pressed with just the right amount of Latakia and flavoured with Rum. Medium strength.
