Could you rank the My Father cigars from favorite to least with a short description?
I have only had the no. 1. Centurion, and le Bijou.
I thought the no. 1 and Centurion were pretty good, but I love the le Bijou.

I have been tempted to try some more, but the last time I was trying to decide between the Centurion and Bijou, I wanted to give the Centurion a try, but immediately wished I went for the le Bijou instead. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Centurion but it wasn't a Bijou.

I guess I'm trying to figure out which one to try next am curious what everyone else's opinions are.

Of regular production the Le Bijou is great. I would also check out the My Father CT, and the JJ. Centurion is my least favorite line.

Love the Bijou as well, probably my favorite cigar at the moment.

Have you tried the Flor de las Antillas, or La Antiguedad? Both are very good, just slightly below Bijou in my book.

Of those that I have tried, and a few of these only once or twice, ranked from my favorite to less favored.
In my opinion, there is not a bad one in the bunch, but some less preferred than others.
A few of these may switch places with each-other depending upon mood, like the top two for example.

Jaime Garcia
MF Le Bijou
DPG Original (Blue)
La Antiguedad
Flor de las Antilles
La Duena
My Father - occasional hints of cinnamon
DPG JJ
El Centurion

I've not tried the "Black". - Cuban Classic or the MF CT

The My Father lines remain among some of my favorites.

I'd second this order ^^^^^^^

I really like the DPG Blues, but the black has been my least favorite so far. It had a nice habano blend, but the spice was bit of overkill.
I didn't even realize there was a cigar named Jamie Garcia. I will have to try this.

I was thinking about ordering some La Antiguedads but was afraid I'd regret it since I'm stuck on the other and down to 1 left in my humi.
Budget is really tight right now, so I have to make these decisions carefully!

Thanks.

If you don't like them, which I highly doubt, you can always sell/bomb/trade.

herman - in no particular order, from my experience.

Flor De Las Antillas Robusto
Le Bijou Box Press Torp
El Centurion Toro
Reserva Especial Petit Robusto
10th Anni
La Duena Toro Gordo
Original Blue Label Generosos
La Antiguedad Robusto
Las Calaveras 2014 Robusto

Some of this is My Father factory and some he helped blend. The Bijou is one of his stronger blends and a great cigar. Check out the Blue Label Generosos and La Antiguedad Robusto.

Overall I think Pepin is my favorite maker. It's tough to rank them exactly, but I'll try putting them into 3 classes.

My top favorites:
My Father, especially the smaller RG like the corona and lancero. Spicy, peppery, awesome
My Father Le Bijou, again I really like the smaller RG the best. Sweet, rich, earthy and creamy
Flor de las Antillas, toasty, cedar, some lighter pepper and spices

Always tasty:
El Centurion
Jaime Garcia and Jaime Garcia Sur Oeste
Cuban Classic
La Antiguadad (these are strong)

Ok, but not in my rotation:
Blue Label - I liked the first couple I had, but everything listed above is better
La Duena - gritty and earthy, only smoked one and had construction issues, and I've never gone back to try again
My Father Connecticut - tasted grassy and thin to me

I think I've smoked a JJ, but I can't remember 100% and don't have an opinion on it.

I'm a fan of the "line within a line" Cedros deluxe. Both sizes, the corona sized eminentes and cervantes are excellent medium bodied smokes that to my taste are smoother than the regular my fathers. The Jaime Garcia is also an excellent very robust smoke.

La Antiguadad (these are strong)

Great. That makes the Bijou a rarer smoke for me, cause I really only smoke them when I feel like getting slapped by nic.
I was kind of hoping nothing would be quite as strong as the Bijou. Might give them and the cedar sleeves a try anyway.

Thanks for the input.

I like most, but the La AntiDads and Bayous are pretty strong smokes...If I'm going to smoke something that powerful, I'll smoke a Joya Antano. Just agrees with me more, and less puking... ;)

I would consider myself a My Father Whore!
The only one I haven't smoked yet is the JJ (but I have one sitting in the humi).
The only one I didn't care for was the Tobac Baez. I think that's because I smoked it in my infancy (I'm a toddler now ;) ). Probably didn't allow it to rest and didn't know how to appreciate a milder cigar then.
If I had to give them an order of preference, it would go a little something like this...

Le Bijou
Jamie Garcia Reserva Especial
Blue label
El Centurion
Cuban Classic
Le Antiguidad
Flor de las Antillas
Any of the La Rebola blends
La Dueña
My Father CT (I have to revisit this)

There may be a few that I haven't tried, but I don't think it's many! Like the Cedros line that was mentioned.
I prefer anything from a petite Robusto to a toro, but I'm willing to try the smaller RG too (I'm sitting on a lancero that I'm dying to try, but want to give it the time & attention it deserves; Cardinal )!

Having said you're on a tight budget, give the Old Henry's a try from Holts.

Thanks for the suggestion. Never heard of those. Well all this Pepin talk made me light a toro gordo blue label, and half way through I'm dizzy and might have to call it quits or slow way down. Looking for some sugar now. It's such a great cigar too. Maybe it's not the Bijou so much as these larger sizes I always wind up with.

I absolutely love the Flor de las Antillas! But the le Bijou is always a good choice too. :yes!:
