We've had a couple discussions in various threads the last month or two about the Foundry Chillin' Moose line, so thought I'd put this up for interested parties. They're up on the Weekend Spotlight practically for free.

I smoked one of these recently from a bomb I received last year, and didn't know anything about it going in. I assumed it was a ~$6+ corona and after smoking I thought it was one of the better cigars I had in the month of June...I'm pretty sure it was June. Anyway, it has some spiciness, a good dose of sweetness, and it's very creamy. Mild-medium strength and flavor. I think Joel ( defetis ) recommended them too.

You can get them for $2 apiece shipped from CI right now, so I just ordered a box of the coronas.

I just ordered a box a couple weeks ago and had my first the other night. Very impressive stick for the cost. Probably one of the best cigars I've had to date

Of couse I picked up a box of coronas in auction earlier last week for $34 plus shipping. Wish I had known this sale was coming...maybe I'll get a box of robustos. I agree with your description of flavor and body. For $2 a stick these are a steal and worth having around. I especially like the coronas as a morning smoke with a coffee.

Thanks Tim, this is definitely good to know. I see the boxes all the time shipping out and I LOVE the artwork on the box, but I assumed (you know what they say about A-s-s-uming?!) that it wasn't a great stick due to the price point. I guess I am going to have to try them now!

Saw the email over the weekend and thought about it, but passed this time. Guess maybe I should have jumped on the deal...oh well, next time.

I KNOW. You know how many reviews I've written and said that same thing.... It is just one of those cigars that we don't break apart the boxes here so I would have to buy an entire box, not just a couple to try. I know it's not a huge commitment, being a $35 box, but I have burned by doing this so many times!!!

I do get it. After I smoked it and loved it, I saw the price and thought, "Wait...was it really that good??" haha

Maybe I got the king cigar of all Chillin' Meese and the rest will suck, but a couple other botls here have chimed in about them being solid so I'm hoping my good experience wasn't a miraculous one-time occurrence.

I have a corona but am going to wait until it gets colder (not the moose, the weather). Trying to burn through some jumbo sizes while its still warm (Gurkha Behemoth, here I come!).

Just had one of these tonight that a brother gave me. I have to admit I wasn't expecting much...

But this cigar is solid! I was really impressed, not just because of the price point either. This is right on par with a lot of higher priced sticks. If I paid 6 or 7 bucks at a B&M I would not be disappointed. Paying 2 bucks for it is just the icing on the cake! IMO the best cheapo I've had to date, maybe tied with Estd 1844.
