and what is it?
I am not sure which ones they are, but I apparently have a few around 9 years old. I got in to this hobby seriously in Sept. 2013. Made a trade with a guy who had quit the hobby and became strictly a piper. In my part received I got 160 cigars that had 2-7 years on them. I have a few of the original 160 left, but have no idea which ones are now 4 years and which were 9. Everything I have bought and haven't smoked yet are 2 years and younger. I have 1 single cigar I have been saving from the original 160 that I have been saving for the day I retire, whenever that happens. A Behike 54.

That Behike is a WONDERFUL smoke. I had one that was only a few months old. I can only imagine what one that has years on it is like!!!

Thanks Brian. Yeah, I don't know which I am more excited about. The Behike or retirement? Well, actually that one is pretty easy.

I'm looking forward to retirement! But I have at least 15 years for that unless I hit the lottery!

I've been moderately serious about cigars around this time in 2013, and I have a decent amount of cigars now with 2 years on them. I've also got a few from 2007 and 2008 that I've bought off of guys here or back on Pxxx.

Behike, yep.

That's awesome Trey. Have you figured out when you are going to smoke it? I am hoping to try Nicks newest creation Foundation. Will be released next month I believe.

I have not, I look at it every once in a while and think "no not yet". I'm looking forward to trying his new creation as well.

2008 DPG, the original. My nearest B&M had an almost full box that had been discovered last summer sitting on an upper shelf in the humidor, thinking it was an empty box. Bought a couple and smoked one. Went back the next day and picked up the rest. I have about 7 left. I think I gave out more than I have smoked. Next is a handful of 601 Maduros from 2010 that I bought in 2012; the year I got more serious about cigars.

2006 RyJ Petit Julietas.
Used to have a '98 Punch Punch. It was killed with fire earlier this year, and absolutely amazing!

That would be the oldest cigar I have as well (thanks for Bombing it to me!). I've been trying to pretend it's not there but I know I have a day moment of weakness and it will go up in smoke. Most of my humidor is 2012-2014 with a few older that I struggle to keep my hands off of.

...I think I gave out more than I have smoked.
That's the way to do it. I'm the same with a lot of my oldest and most favorite ones - whether through the forum or with friends or with my dad.

Oldest ever was the 4 year old Viaje Skull N Bones M?stery you gave me, Old Smokey. Along those lines, the 2011 Oliva V Maduro Especials from AuTechCoM, and again from Steve, a 4yo Cohiba Siglo IV

Erte 7 Deadly Sins from 1996. Otherwise my last Condal tubo from the Canaries, from 2011.

I've got a Monte #4 (the tubos variety) which I got in a bomb a few years ago, and even then it was a couple of years old, so I'm going to go with that, at an estimated 4-5 years old. Not saving it for anything in particular, but whenever I go digging for a smoke, the occasion that calls for it just doesn't appear.

Sadly, my oldest is only around 2 years...I have a few CC boxes that will mostly be held for some years with only an occasional one smoked during that time...

'99 SLR Lonsdale have a few more from around the same time. Planning on taking them to the 20yr mark. I recently saw a CA video on aging and they had some interesting comments on over aging cigars which were contrary to what Ive heard from just about every person thats ever smoked a 15 year+ stogie...Layne obviously enjoyed his.

Think I have a single PSD4 from '05. Also have a box of VR Maestros from '07. Both are cc's. None of my NC's have any real age on them.

I have a couple of Gurkha's that are about 4+ years old.
Mainly because I don't want to smoke them...
I save them for handing out to people that I don't like, but want one of my cigars.

I have a couple Rocky Patel prodigy from 7/12 that I haven't smoked simply because they are my oldest. They are a reminder of when I discovered this hobby. Also I don't remember them being anything special so it's easy to pass on them lol
