I dont drink much beer..

I love ciders. Started out with Hornsbys and couldn't find them when I moved from the east coast home to the midwest so I have tried a number of different ciders and Angry Orchard is popular enough I can get them while I am out to dinner around here.

To me its sweet with a lil bite...just enough for my light weight ass..

I had the day off and had planned on getting caught up on yard work today. But after about 3 hours of rain I got a daily reprieve. We are enjoying the cooler temps these next few days. As I get older it seems a little harder to acclimate to the heat.

Enjoy your refreshment and cigar. Sounds like you have earned and deserve both!

I have no idea what a "up-flow clarifier" is, but great job. Busting your ass at work just makes cigar time that much more enjoyable.

Old Smokey's hit on something that I've been noticing over the past years.
As to why it gets harder to deal with the heat once you're wearing a few more years.
The Thermostat works pretty well in the mid range temps, but struggles to handle the
peaks and valleys.Seems that for most folks it's heat that's hardest to deal with,
Leastway's we can always blame the heat for why we need to keep drinking
as to sittin in the shade, just makes sense not to let the ice melt so fast lest it
drowns the alky.
When the engines overheating let it cool down a bit,
you'll want it to last a bit longer I reckon.

I don't know how you guys can drink that hard cider. It's an atomic gut bomb for me. Dunno why because almost nothing messes with my stomach... except that stuff. I can drink regular cider or mulled cider by the gallon but a bottle or two of hard cider will leave me rolling around on the ground in agony about half of the time. Too bad because some of them taste pretty good. :(

That's no kidding on the heat. I was up at the farm brush hogging in the old John Deere this weekend. She's enclosed and the AC is not worth fixing for a 40 year old tractor. It may have been cooler, but I was still sweating like a fat boy at a free dance...

One of these days I may take you up on it. In the meantime I will practice on my 31 year old Wheel Horse garden tractor/lawn mower. Neighbors laugh at me in the spring when it takes me 20 minutes to mow the yard. When it hits 100f, they don't laugh as much. I always figured they were laughing at me, but MAYBE they are laughing at my mower. Those bastards!
