Big thanks to AlanS for sending me this!
5" x 50
The wrapper has a musty smell, as does the foot. The triple cap is nice, and the wrapper as a whole has only small veins and the seams are almost perfect.
I light it up, and find no spice in the retrohale, but I do smell some yummy coffee instead! (my first time really smelling anything besides spice on the retrohale). More creamy and nutty notes, yummy!
The smoke production varies. Sometimes not much, sometimes a lot. The draw is nice with a bit of resistance (which I prefer).
1" in, I'm starting to get a little bit of spice in the retrohale.
2" in and the ash finally drops! It's grayish white.
The flavors of coffee, cream and nuts continue their olfactory threesome for the remainder of the smoke. I ended up stopping wit 1.5" left, as it was getting bitter/harsh. Perhaps because I had this cigar after breakfast (first time that early in the day) instead of after lunch or dinner?
Total burn time: 70 minutes
Final notes: I really enjoyed this cigar, and would not mind trying it again!
