No Lanceros. It's not really a B&M but a discount tobacco shop with 3 large cabinet humidors but it works as the next closest is an hours drive.

They actually keep a pretty decent selection, however. The other day I picked up a My Father No. 1 and before that a Perdomo Maduro with a Bobken which I really enjoyed!

Lancero February is something that started on BoTL. Crazy your shop doesn't carry any lances, I'm guessing the trend there is still on bigger RG smokes. That Tat sampler is a good one though it should treat you well.

For us living in the cold weather it doesn`t make much sense to make the COLDEST month the month for the longest cigar.

Thanks to Cardinal (Tim) I am able to play here. The Cain F Lancero...7x38 that I received in a very generous Maw from Tim, has been set alight...and is smoking just fine, razor sharp burn line, flavourful and excellent retro hale.With only two cups of coffee, so far on this rainy in February, I reckon I'm looking at a couple of hours with this Cigar, likely some more Coffee, ah who am I kidding, brewing more right now.Seems this is a day for some mellow Jazz and that has to mean Miles Davis, Stan Kenton, along with some of the songbirds, likely the Misty Miss Christy,Billie Hollyday,Peggy Lee...goodness the list is endless, as I think this cigar is going to take more than a few minutes before it will with regret, be put down.

Courtesy of a bomb from Old Smokey. I've smoked a bunch of good lanceros this month, including an Anejo 888, those Fume D'Amours, and a couple Tats, and this one stood up to all of them. I thought Crowned Heads might be a little overhyped after my first cigar or two from them, but I've become a believer over the last few months. This was super flavorful and really excellent. Thanks Steve!

Never tried any of the JdN Cabinetta's before. I did try the Antano 1970 lancero and it was a chore to draw from so I never tried another. I don't remember how long I let it rest back when, but that was many moons ago. I guess I should try it again if I stumble across some of the lancero's again in a B&M....

Smoked a My Father lancero last evening. Tasty stuff!

Never tried any of the JdN Cabinetta's before. I did try the Antano 1970 lancero and it was a chore to draw from so I never tried another. I don't remember how long I let it rest back when, but that was many moons ago. I guess I should try it again if I stumble across some of the lancero's again in a B&M....

It's funny I had an Antano lancero a few weeks ago. I got a bunch of stuff from a BOTL here and that one had a tear in the wrapper so figured I'd just put it out it's misery. I don't know if it was related to the tear or not, but it did have some burn and draw issues. This Cabinetta on the other hand was flawless.

I haven't had many lancero's, but the ones that come to mind that burned and tasted good are the Skinny Monsters, Oliva V and Black Label Trading Co. (the one with the praying skeleton).....

You just need to get a pipe and start smoking Virginia flake. That way if you smoke too fast the smoke will taste like cigarettes and you'll be left with a scorched tongue. You'll catch on fast :pipe:

The ashtray was a gift from my daughter and her husband a handful of years ago.
The guillotine cutter that came with it is trash! The punch is fine, especially after I refined the cutting edge.
Took me a while to learn how to easily remove the tray for emptying.
