Pairied - KC Reiger Whiskey. This cigar made this whiskey waaay better. On its own neat, this whiskey is just plain bad.

I have been told these are Oliva O Maduros and I grabbed a bundle back in 2012 for less than $2 a stick. These have been resting in my humidor since then and I smoked on yesterday.

Appearance and Construction
There were a few spots on the wrapper, which was probably the reasoning behind pulling it as a second. But that doesn't matter to me. Minimal veins. Still a maduro wrapper, but a little bit lighter than those dark beauties I am used to seeing. This cigar burned perfectly and held a pretty long ash. On the nub, though, it started to burn pretty hot.

Flavor
Draw was perfect, not too loose, but not too firm. Smoke was nice and creamy.
1/3 - There is a milk chocolate sort of flavor. Some butter cream flavor almost and a little bit of spice.
2/3 - some oakiness starts to develop and the spice becomes more prominent with a touch of fruit in the background. Like a plum or an apricot.
3/3 - a whole lot of cream, oakiness and some leather.

This was a great cigar and totally worth it for the money. Will definitely be buying a bundle again

Sounds like a nice little stick to take out on the golf course!

Thanks for the review!

It definitely is. I am thinking about buying those cigar clips to put on your golf bag.

They're a nice little accessory to have! I use mine pretty often when out on the course. But I also use my head-covers just as often because sometimes it is just easier to plop the stogie down on the cover than it is to fiddle with the clip

When you get into the last 3rd-nub territory though, the clip is a life saver out there!
