Well I'm off for a trip through the Canadian Rockies out to the west coast (Victoria BC) for a weeks vacation and while trying to pack I can't seem to make up my mind on what to bring. I'm going to bring a couple small samples of pipe tobacco along but as for cigars I don't know what to bring. It's like trying to decide which kid gets to go to college.

Hotel we'll be staying at is only a 15 minute walk from a smoke shop so might grab a couple habanos while there as well since I've yet to light one up, but with the insane costs of cigars up here I most likely will be smoking mostly what I bring. I don't have any real high end stuff but would like to bring some really good sticks along. I have a 4 cigar case and a 3 cigar sleeve so could manage up to 7, though probably won't have time to smoke that many... though I can probably make time... if I HAVE to... fine you convinced me. Anyways figured I'd slap up a list of what I have and let you guys decide what I'm to enjoy on my trip.

Corojo Especial
Flor de oliva
Blue ribbon
diesel unholy cocktail
black market
gran habano vintage 2002
A Fuente curly head
Nica Libra 1990
Tat Havana VI verocu no5
Illusione Espernay petite
Joya nicaragua no11 cabinetta series
oliva serie v
liga undercrown viva
quesada tributo
don tomas classico

h uppmann signature maduro
gisbert casino III

(recent acquisitions from here - thanks El Whedo- only 3 weeks in my humi-jar)
Perdomo lot 23

Of these, what would you bring?

My choice would be the Undercrown corona viva.

I'm a DE whore though (typed as I enjoy a #9 on my balcony). :stogie:

Flor de Oliva and the 5 Vegas. Both great daily smokes. I say leave your nicer stuff safe at home.

Olivia serie v, undercrown, epernay, quesada. Those would be my choices off the list. I'm about to have the same issue. I'm headed to Vegas soon for a week and plan to bring about 15 sticks to enjoy. What to bring... Hmm.

Vegas is one of the few places where you wouldn't really need to bring cigars, as just about every major hotel has them for sale. Some even have dedicated cigar lounges.

Of course, I don't know how good or bad the prices are.

Any chance you'll be coming down to LA?

Yeah they are plentiful but very high priced. Last time I was there I paid $18 for a short story cause I ran out of cigars. I'm not making that mistake again.

Unfortunately I'm flying into Vegas and then flying home when done.

One of these days soon I need to make a trip to LA to visit a couple of people. If I do that I'll get in touch and meet up for a herf.

I'd grab that Nica Libre. Pretty cheap smoke so if you're having drinks or have to end it early you won't feel bad and it's a good smoke on its own.

You're on vacation to enjoy yourself...smoke the good stuff and bring extras for backup and possible encounters with other smokers.

I'm only a 3.5 hour drive from Vegas, but that's just far enough to need to plan a trip.

Kind of my thoughts. Don't have any amazing sticks but the better ones I have I've been saving for something special, and I think this vacation fits the bill.

Thanks for the input all
