Enjoying a great cigar and figured I'd toss up a picture of a makeshift humidor that works great! Less than $20 in rough cut spanish cedar that I split in half and roughly cut to size in five minutes and a ziplock storage bin. I've had the two Boveda packs for about 3 months and they have yet to need recharging. Recommend.

Is there a fourth photo with the ghetto part in it? Looks like the real deal to me.

No active humidification, less than 35 bucks to get setup and no visual appeal. Gets the job done with no flash. I love it.
Recommend.
you put a flat rate sticker on it an sent it to me........contents included

More money for cigars is always a good thing!

I have the same container, minus all the fancy cedar. I just have some old boxes I tore apart.

I use sheets of cedar I get from my local B&M for free in my tupperdors

The picture maybe deceiving as it's less than half full.... There's also a bottom layer and a half (trust me) of cedar.
I stay away from any box that has any kind of finish to it. Trying to keep them away from anything that may taint. I'm probably going way overboard with that mentality, but whatever...
And those cedar splines are great! I use them in smaller bags and containers.

It's ghetto fabulous.
I just have mine in a 5 gallon plastic bucket with a gasketed lid.

i went above and beyond with a container like that and made "trays" out of old boxes to hold the cigars and keep it somewhat organized and i love the setup. have yet to recharge my boveda that has been in it for 6 month. i love it
