Good, but not great. 'Course, had just smoked a Piedra, so was probly already burnt on tasting. Fragrant as all get out though.

San Lotano Oval Maduro. I really need to start trying some of the Man O War lines. I've enjoyed just about everything else by him so far.

I'm going to withhold final judgement until I've smoked a couple. It was good but not as good as the regular New World. So far I'm still partial to the MOW Virtue when it comes to AJF connie blends.

What did you think of the Relic?
I had my 1st a few weeks ago and wasn't very impressed. :(
Usually find his blends very enjoyable ROTT, rested or aged.

I think it was enjoyable enough, not as good as the New World. I think I went through a 5er, I will have to get some and let them sit a bit and see how they are. The New World CT is pretty nice.

I'm big on the Ruinations at the moment but my favorite so far is the Southern Draw Firethorn...a collaboration between Sharon & Robert Holt out of Tejas and AJ Fernandez. Highly recommended. Go to the Southern Draw website for some poop on the subject...

I've found that the Relics aren't very consistent. I've had some that are good and others that are only so-so. But when they are good, they are GOOD.

Granted, I've only smoked one, but I was not impressed at all.
