Tonight, I'm burnin' an RP Super Ligero with just water. Holy head-knocker, Batman! How bout y'all? What stick threatens to beat you over the head? What do you smoke with caution?

Perdomo Champagne Noir packs a punch for me and is one of my all time favorites.

The only cigar I've ever smoked that gave me pause was a My Father Le Bijou 1922.

Uh oh, I've got one of those that I have planned for this weekend. Better save it for after dinner.

It used to be LP9 and La Gloria Cubana but than months later I smoked 2 Dark Antano's on an empty stomach and felt fine so I feel that all caution has passed for me.

I have gotten pretty bad off once after a My Father Le Bijou 1922 also and got a good head buzz from an Aging Room M356.

I had to put down a San Lotano Oval 6x60 sooner than I would have liked.

That Rocky was quite a surprise, seeing as how I smoke and enjoy LFD DL's, Camacho Blackout, LGC Serie R and Esteli, etc...

I generally go for the balls to the walls sticks so not much gets me taking a step back...but I do find the Cu Avana Punisher to be a little too much.

La Aroma De Cuba was delicious right to the nub, that's when every thing started spinning and I had to revisit my dinner. One day I'll give it another go, maybe a little slower.

I had an Oliva V torpedo a while ago that tore up my stomach worse than anything.

Liga Privada Dirty Rat and Cain F550 are the only ones that have ever made me go "whoa this is strong" in the last 22 years.

The LFD Chapter One is the only stick that's ever gotten to me. But it was on an empty stomach after having smoked an Arturo Fuente. I'm sure if I smoked another with at least something in my stomach, I'd be okay.

I haven't met that stick yet.

The only 2 that really did me in to the point I was thinking about waiting it out next to the restroom are My Father Le Bijou 1922 and Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo.
Now, I always grab these in petit and corona and it's a perfect dose.

I'm a light weight and stick with medium sticks. I've had to take a nap a couple of times smoking something stronger.

If you haven't yet tried these:
EP Carrillo Inch
LGC Serie R Esteli
CAO Brazilia

These are all fullbodied but well balanced, and won't put whuppin' on ya, Rod

Thanks for the heads up!

Avo Classics are my favorite and so I ordered 2 samplers that come with CAO Golds (similar?), and then several singles including a CAO Black, Rocky Patel CT, Ave Maria, Jaime Garcia RE, and La Perla Habana Black Pearl Rojo as these were all recommended as a cheaper (box <$100 shipped) alternative to the Avos.

I didn't find it to be the most powerful, but the burning sensation on my lips made me think someone dipped it in Tabasco Sauce. Not an enjoyable experience for me.

CAO Gold is a nice mild, the Black is medium and fantastic. You might look at CI's CAO Dream Team sampler. 2 each Black, Black VR, Italia, Brazilia, and MX2. My humble opinion, I haven't had a bad CAO yet

Any of the sticks from the Paul Garmirian Gourmet Symphony 20 Series, can hurt you, especially on an empty stomach. These are my number one favorite cigars, nothing else comes close. I especially love the Connoisseur, Belicoso & the Salomon. If I had to pick one, it would be the Connoisseur.

For me, it was a Tatuaje Reserva Cojonu 2003.
It didn't make me ill, but I certainly began to feel very uncomfortable about 2/3's the way in.
Had to put it down for a while.

I love a strong stick, so not many sticks get me nicotine sick anymore but oddly enough... a mojito flavored stick did me in a few years ago

I'm still pretty new but the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor is the only cigar that's given me a queasy feeling, but it was quickly dealt with by a handful of M&M's. That isn't saying much, though, I haven't really smoked a lot of cigars that I'd expect to feel sick from.

Haven't had the problem yet, but I have alot of smokes I haven't tried yet. Also, used to be a cig smoker many years ago, so maybe I have a higher tolerance...?

I don't smoke anything with caution any more. Been a long time since anything's knocked me on my butt, nicotine-kick-wise.

It's only when I combine alcohol that it sometimes takes me by surprise...

I used to be a chain smoking Marlboro fool, and would have thought it wouldn't matter much, but it does. I smoked 2-3 packs a day and not lights, and this was for more than 20 years. It's been about 5 years since I smoked not counting a cigarette once in a blue moon after a couple of years of being dried out.

Not sure if this counts, but a Macanudo Crystal Cafe made me very nauseous. Of course, it was the second cigar I'd ever smoked, and only the third time smoking anything.

I also learned to have something to drink during and not do it on an empty stomach :)

Now, the first time I tried Kodiak I SHOULD HAVE approached it with caution. Nothing like hanging your head out your friend's VW Rabbit doing 50 down a country road while drooling uncontrollably and nearly vomiting...

I had a Montecristo Epic one Saturday morning after a night of imbibing pretty good. Got the nic sweats about 3/4 of the way through. Not totally sure it was the stick, but I'll be more careful if I go for another one of those.
