It happens. Doesn't look like it even needs retouching. These are handmade products, and even in brands like Padron you will occasionally get one that is less than perfect. I once had a Davidoff slightly canoe on me- hardly the construction issues I've seen with General Cigar brands, but it still broke up my idealist mindset about high-end brands being infallible. What you have can easily be the result of lighting it unevenly. You have to light with a perfect line if you want a perfect burn.

I find that to be a common event and seems to be the result of uneven lighting of the cigar as opposed to the cigar itself... usually corrects itself or is easily fixed with a quick touch up.
Now if the problem persists throughout the smoke... then you have other issues.
EDIT Damn you Tobias.... beaten to the punch.

I agree with the above. If you will rotate the slow side downward when you draw it will likely catch up.

Mr. Jizzle, they are probably the only toes he has. I doubt he chose to wear the ugly ass ones.

I know about that trick. Maybe I don't give it enough time to catch up?

I wouldn't worry about it. If needed I would touch it up but most generally I only touch up when required. I don't like to put more fire to them unless I have to. Haha

What?! On what planet? :ask:
I've always put the slow side (side with unburned leaf/filler/wrapper) to the top.
the theory is that;
Heat rises, so it will then encourage the combustion of the laggard side. I have always experienced this to be true.
I have also always experienced that doing the opposite move will exacerbate the problem.
Sounds like we need a poll...

I'm with Old Smokey. The oxygen on the lower side (top side suffocated with smoke) encourages combustion. Poll is needed indeed. :)

My mind is officially blown about whether to keep the slow side up or down. I've always just touched up the burn with a torch blast.

Yup, I used to think the same way as fiddlegrin but read on here you put the slow side down instead of up and it works. Would make for a good poll. But those that vote to have to slow side up would be wrong.

Is this going to be one of those epic debates like Mac VS PC or toilet paper roll hanging over or under? :D

That depends, have you ever encountered a roll of t.p. that had printing on it? ( like trivia questions or something)

Curious to the conditions you were smoking in too, was it breezy or windy, that could of added to it. But that doesn't seem like anything out of the norm for a Padron Thousand Series to me.
When I was in college I once had a burn like that looked like Jesus.... Ohh wait that wasn't a cigar though ;)

What you have can easily be the result of lighting it unevenly. That's what it looks like to me and I have a lot of experience with lighting cigars unevenly.
I think the bigger issue is that you may need a refresher on how to use an ashtray. ;)

I never remember to take the pic before I light the cigar.

I was smoking indoor in my garage. Almost no breeze.
