Tobacco: Brebbia Calvados
Age: unknown
Blend Contents: Burley, Virginia
Pipe: old Kaywoodie Carburator
Tin Note: fig and apple
Prep: Gravity fill
Notes:
I don’t have much to say about this one. It was pleasant, but not inspiring.
I had trouble picking up anything in the first half of the smoke.
Right about halfway through, I picked up some faint sour apple; but I think it was only because I read that it had apple in it. Otherwise, the best I probably could have done is label is as some sort of fresh fruit. I did pick up a dry hay from the virginia, but it was also subtle.
The smoke was not thick, but it was nice.
The flavors in this one do not jump out at you. You really have to concentrate to pick up the subtleties.
