Man, they smoke as good as they look. Some guy way back when...now what was his name? Tomas...Toady...Tobias...whatever. He said they reminded him of the Davidoff Classic if I recall correctly. Flavorful, but not overpowering and no ashtray mouth.

Those Buenaventuras are excellent - BV560 I believe. I bought a box on just a recommendation without having tried them - and was NOT at all disappointed.

I agree. I had one a couple months ago, and immediately regretted not buying more. They are very good. These are the 500's, though. I don't venture into 56 rg territory unless that is all that's available.

I understand. Once I get above 50-52 rg I like to get it in a Figuarado, just so the 'mouth feel' is still enjoyable. CA had the Buenaventura BV560 as their #7 top 25 in 2013. At $4-and-something a stick at the box price, I couldn't resist.

All new to me - a couple Ninfamaniacs (couldn't resist the name and band), La Paulina, and a couple Patoros. The guys at the shop got their first shipment of those Patoros yesterday while I was smoking in the lounge and I grabbed a couple just to see what's up. They told me the cigars have a Brazilian wrapper and Dominican binder/filler, and beyond that I don't know much except they also said one of the guys involved with making these is a former Davidoff guy. We'll see.

Chris, yes I go there quite often. I try like hell to buy online, but the lure of that place has some sort of power over me. I think it's their Davidoff humidor. Some kind of fine.......I HAVE TO GO IN THERE, I SHALL NOT PASS. Really nice place, and some great guys behind the counter. Unfortunately it's only about 15 minutes away, and only 5 minutes from my daughter's house, so I visit her a lot more often since I found the place Bwaahaahaaha.
