They take age very well as well. Not the prettiest cigar I've ever seen but I never have a construction issue and they are so damn delicious. Then you add in the price and it's a no doubt humidor staple IMO.

It is just a smaller version of the Depew store. Similar selection and pricing. They just had specials going on during the event, such as 6 free sticks and a discount when you purchase 20 cigars. So, thats what I did.

It averaged out to less than $9 a stick. Given that if I wanted to match what my wife has spend this year on her hobbies I would have to have brought home a few hundred sticks at that pice or more, it was a small purchase.

Nevermind the 11 I bought to fill out a raffle prize this week, or the 35 I bought that are still in transit.

Also, when I told my wife I might not stop she said I should go and get something nice. She new full well how much that might run. Lol.

Sr. apparently called the blend in. I wonder if he ever got to smoke one? And I'm with you, I love Fuente tobacco. It looks like the same band as on the regular Casa Cuba. These are supposed to be extremely limited, I wonder if they will put a different or even a secondary band on future releases?

It's the logistics of where you live Alan. If I'm not mistaken SB is on the west coast, so time in transit is only a day or two. Plus they use priority shipping so everyone gets a guaranteed two day max time in transit. The brown truck from the east coast to the west coast has a 7 day time in transit unless you swallow the 3, 2 or 1 day option. In which case they make you pay through the nose.

It's sad that the larger retailers don't give better delivery rates. They typically get "volume" discounts. If a smaller retailer like SB can give free priority shipping, why can't the larger ones?

Yeah, It's been just about a year since my first "real" cigar and it's been quite a ride ever since. I wasn't looking to do any more slope-sliding but in my effort to not leave free money on the table...after subtracting the shipping there isn't a lot on CI for three bucks. When the pipe popped up I thought "huh, there's something I don't need, I should get that."

The box is heavy too. They didn't skimp on the packaging, that's for sure. I don't know if I can't wait, one may go up in flames tonight or tomorrow night. It's unseasonably warm here. High of 68 the next two days.

Not a purchase by me, but a cigar smoking neighbor 4 houses down the street gave me a Fuente 2016 Rare Holiday Sampler yesterday. 10 great looking Fuente cigars. Sadly Bob and his wife are moving to a home they recently purchased on Grand Lake O' the Cherokees in NE OK and I am going to miss sharing and enjoying cigars with him. But I know he loves his new home and maybe he will invite me down for cigars and fishing once he gets settled. Thank you Bob!

Tried one on Thursday. Definite "dryness" once lit. Which immediately reminded me of a time when the Oliva G cigars, of the same size had started to smoke that way. At the time I figured it as a problem related to the Cameroon Wrapper. This AKA cigar didn't change for better or worse over the time it took me to smoka about an inch of it. Had to leave at that time and didn't attempt to relight after getting back three hours later. Plan to let the rest rest for a fair spell before trying a second one. Good looking cigars.

At the time I figured it as a problem related to the Cameroon Wrapper. This AKA cigar didn't change for better or worse over the time it took me to smoka about an inch of it. Had to leave at that time and didn't attempt to relight after getting back three hours later. Plan to let the rest rest for a fair spell before trying a second one. Good looking cigars.
