Bob,
A good majority of what I smoke on a constant basis, have RGs 50, and below. However, as you know it’s not always the case, especially if it’s something new, or a limited release, where options are few. If the stick is good, I don’t mind going up to 52, but that’s typically my limit.

Plus a trade for 17 Nicaraguan Creams that the owner didn't care for but i enjoyed the few I've had. He only wanted a mediocre fiver for them, so a good chance to pay back some of the generosity the cigar community has shown me, by sending him some nice, higher end smokes and 10 instead of five as a little bomb.

He's going on vacation this week, so wont be shipping until he returns home, and I'm half tempted to tell him what I'm sending just to mess with him for a week,lol


Only problem is that both of my 74qt containers are completely full, so not sure where I'm going to put them. First world problems, lol

Plus next months planned order includes 1 box and 4 20ct bundles, so definitely need to get a solution soon. Looks like I'll be buying another great, Iris Weatherproof 74qt container. Have been extremely happy with the 2 I have. Dont really have room for another on the floor so will have to stack them.

Binny's Beverage Depot came through for a box of a difficult to get stick lately (weirdly): Padron Londres Maduro. I really enjoy these, they're thinner so they have more robust flavors, age well, and burn just about perfectly for 9 holes of golf lol.

But its its within the rules, so maybe will help others with ideas on things to try without breaking the bank. I try to always get the most for my money, while still getting good cigars. I've been pretty satisfied by most of the bundle and other cheaper cigars, I have had.

Been a while since i had a new cigar I didn't like.

Never had any OFC yet, but have had a few CH and really enjoyed them as i recall.

Should pick up some more to try out. Will have to check my inventory app and see which ones I have had as i have no idea with my memory damage.

They just kinda fell off my radar. Have to rely on my bookmarks almost entirely when putting together my monthly order, so if i haven't bookmarked it, it doesn't get ordered.

Love CAO. Never had one i didn't throughly enjoy, and I have had quite a few different ones.

Have had a few La Glorias, but again would have to check my app to see which ones I have had.

Most recent have been very well aged ones from Bruce aka Ljutic in the massive bomb of early 2000's nc's he sent me that I have been smoking and reviewing one a week to make them last as on average they have been great.

No Por Larranaga there Sean. Those are Laranja, made by Espinosa. The originals had Orange in the band and are very citrusy. These are different branches of that line. Have had the Escuro but not the Azulejo.

Probably all 2nds or Overruns from Cigar Page say something like "from a well known factory...but we can't say who". These could very well be Kristoff since you've seen similar.


I just recently got outside to smoke a cigar only to finally notice it had a closed foot.

Had to tear it away with a fingernail.

The name escapes me on what cigar it was, especially with me constantly smoking new ones, which i believe this one was.

Hard to keep track unless its one i really like and bookmark it in Chrome to buy more.

Right away I was happy with my purchase, as there was more going on within the first inch - not creamy like with premium CTs, but more batter-y like pancake batter. Rocky Patel puts out several fumas and all have been very much worth the price.

I’ve never understood why they close the foot, but they usually burn off just fine. Occasionally I do a pre-light draw and think it’s plugged only to find it’s closed

Got my order of 124 cigars all in my carts and ready to go when I get my pension Friday.

15 are from Christmas gift cards different benefactors gave us, amongst lots of other things.

Need to wait till Thursday on them as i need to add cash to my card since i already bought a Pardo 15ct travel humidor and awesome looking Pardo 4 in 1 tool with 8mm and 11mm punches, a nubbing tool and a nice looking draw tool al in one package, so i can pack up all my individual, loose stuff and use it for everything everyday. Will be great for traveling too.

Will post pics of the big cigar hall as stuff arrives.

Can't wait. Finally getting a box of Tatuaje Black Corona Gordas and a box of Nica Rustica el Brujitos, both of which i planned to get last month, but they went out of stock at the last minute.

Love them both and am excited to have a full box of each as i just rip through the fivers of them i have been buying.
