From what I've read, CH is a partner/distributor for ACE, the blender/ maker.

I believe the Garrison Corojo (7.62) is the best, better even than the maduro offerings. Hope you like

Garrison denotes the shiny band, Field the subdued. Wrappers are calibers. So, the 7.62 Garrison is the Corojo wrapper. The real 'spensive one was the Victory, got it free with the sampler.

Pichardo Reserva Familiar.
Not to be confused with Pichardo Mendez cigars from DR.

They are newer on the scene from Nicaragua. Distributed by Crowned Heads. Though technically not CH cigars, just distribution.
They also make the Juarez for Crowned heads.

So far I have had the San Andreas (white), Sumatra (blue) and the Habano (orange). All excellent. Probably in that order for me, but I will have to try some more.
Soon to try the Connecticut (black).

If you haven’t tried it, the Juarez is a very good lower priced cigar.

Only Opus out was Lost City.
No Sharks, No DC reserve, the man, Anjeos, freaking nothing!
Wouldn't let me buy a box of house sticks in Cameroon. Limit 3 per person, so my wife and buddy helped score some loot after my initial purchase.
Wouldn't break anything out from the under cabinets where they hide the goodies.
Out of half their scotches too- Pretty disappointing.

Well the Firecracker is put out by 2 Guys Cigars every 4th of July and they rotate the manufacturer each year. I listen to their podcast and like to give them a little support so I've bought the annual release for 6 or 7 years now. My most local carries United and they can now get them so I can get them local and two birds, one box. I hear these are strong so they may need a good nap but they can always find homes elsewhere.....

That's where I'll check out quickly. If you are trying to package yourself just like something famous, it comes across (to me at least) that you aren't good enough to just stand on your own. I may be wrong but I bet they would get more traction with dropping that foolishness and just leaning into the "First Haitian Cigar" thing.

Yup, same island. IMO it all comes down to the government. Haiti has been given financial help several times, but it never seems to benefit the people. I also believe the DR govt governs their border with Haiti pretty aggressively. They aren’t far from becoming like Haiti.

If I got a Haitian cigar, I would definitely freeze that bastard after sprinkling with Distilled Holy Water! 😁

There's actually a really good history podcast called Revolutions by a guy named Mike Duncan. One of the revolutions he covered is the Haitian revolution. He gets in to a lot of the factors for that difference in the series if you are curious.

Yes they are adding more all the time. The Tats and Viaje are newer to them as well as Tabernacle and a few others. It came under new ownership two years ago and have really turned it around. They also happen to be one of the better Fuente shops in town.

Best yet, it’s less than ten minutes from my house.
