And I love those fire cured smokes with a certain smokey coffee that we’ve ordered again to go with these.

And I liked the Joyas so I bought the box of 5 tins.

The 5er of Villigers I bought for the free shipping, and being rated well I figured I’d try them. Not a bad smoke, but I see they use a single cap. 🤷*♂️

Love little minis. There are times, getting to be more often than not these days, where I don’t have the time or energy for a full sized session. These little 4x30s make fantastic dog walk companions. I’ll be on the lookout for the Man Os and those Joyas.

My latest age verification snafu is with Cigar Page. They did a Scorcher on Black Friday and I plucked a few fivers. Had me put in my DOB, then said they needed last 4 of social to verify. I did and sale went through.
Got an email yesterday saying they needed me to scan my state ID and send it to them. Told 'em no way, not in today's age of ID theft, and that they've sold to me for years!
Rep emailed back and said my email wasn't in their system. I just searched my emails for their domain and did a couple thumb flicks and sent them one from 2017 (from the email they "don't have").

Sometimes its hard to give money away.Guess who sent a shipping notice?

Well I was hopeful to have a picture of the box of La Barba Purples +5 singles to smoke while the box goes to sleep in the footlocker. As well as a 5’er of Headley Grange Black Dog. Ordered them from Jr. and they have been sitting in NC since the 22nd. Here’s praying they ship with humidity packs...

I’ll be so glad when this usps bottleneck is fixed. I have a much larger order ready to go, but I’m waiting till after the first before checkout, to try and avoid this.

Had the maduro rothschild yesterday, and enjoyed it enough to get more on my next run.I've had them before, on a tip from a co-worker. They are a really solid cigar. I'm gonna store a couple of these for a long period just to see if they get any better with some aging. I got a 15 pack in an auction for $32.

I have recently learned they make these ones too, and I'd like to give them a go at some point

I don't know why those types get / got anything at all. For those on the dole, the shutdowns have zero impact on their income. If the government is going to hand out free money, why not give more money to the people who actually had a job but lost it because of all this or those who've taken a hit and are struggling to make ends meet? Received an email from CheapHumidors.com that they had a special on Alec Bradley "Tempus". Decided to order a box and while looking through their website, big mistake, found an awesome plaque for my garage. Placed the order and waited in anticipation. The cigars arrive, but no plaque. I reach out to them and lo and behold I get a response from the one and only Kayla. Come to realize that my dumb ass didn't spell what I wanted written properly. TY Kayla!!! Received the plaque today and it looks amazing!!! Plus cheaphumidors decided to throw in some body guards. TY for looking out for this Guido Bum!!

Here is a brief description of the box: Each cigar is comprised of leafs from all over Nicaragua. When you grab a cigar out of here, you're getting a cigar rolled from the same wrapper, binder, and filler, seed AND Priming. Each section consists of a different leaf. End your specialist training by smoking the center mystery cigars and putting your palette to the test and guessing what they're comprised of. This box has a total of 32 cigars.

I have smoked one before but not the one you sent yet. It was ok. Over priced and over hyped. That being said I am not a fan of EPC. I have enjoyed the inch nub he did a while back. Also only smoked one so far and I will always give a cigar at least 2 shots before a final verdict. They are hand made and they can vary. I will let you know what I think on TJs. And one more side note. I washed my jewels with that Jolly Jewels, review and pics to follow.

So I smoked the one TJ gifted me. I stand by my first thoughts and TJ. Is it a good cigar, yep. Is it worth going out of your way to get, nope *EPC fanboys are exempt. While it may be one of the best EPC cigars I have had if I had to buy one of his I would take that Inch nub he had a few years ago over this any day. Just not my profile. Without looking up what's in it I would not be surprised if it had a good amount of Honduran and Dominican tobaccos. So final schizophrenic verdict, ehh do what you want. You will not be disappointed but I don't know if you will be wowed either. Thanks for the smoke it was enjoyable and would gladly smoke it again but not on my dime.

Well Covid fatigue set in. Wife wanted to get out of the house. A while back in my search for Pinks I did find a store that called me about some high end Fuentes when they got some Opus X Forbidden X cigars. They wouldn't ship but would hold them for me. So I told my wife I had cigars waiting in OKC. Took a small trip up there and picked up my cigars. I looked around a bit admittedly not wanting to buy much more I just bought a couple boxes and then my Pinks thru CentralTimeSmoke. But I saw some Andalusian Bulls. At this point I may have told the guy how much he sucks for being 2 hours away and having such good sticks at or near MSRP. Also grabbed a stick out of the $5 bin while continuing to talk to the guy. He then asked me a few questions then left the humidor and came back with a JDN Cinco Decadas Diadema out of his own stash to give me for free. Great store lots of good stuff and great prices. Took a little trip to visit and old favorite B&M. Had the whole humidor to myself and was offered gloves if I wanted to handle anything. I declined, saying I didn't need to fondle anything.

I too saw an Andalusian Bull, but went with the LFD 25th instead.

Then I browsed a bunch of TAA Tats, Corojus by the year and noticed the Avion Box - yep original box and still had some in it.

My eyes go to the stacked boxes from Roma Craft and I ask about the Baka. Owner tells me "Skip was just through here and I just don't sell enough of his stuff to get the Baka - but the place up the street has 'em".

So in appreciation, I grab one of his house sticks (forget what they call it) that actually has a band.

I have him grab a few of my usuals like the Padron TAA toro (haven't been here in over a year) and gonto check out.

Then, as I'm at the register, I see a dark brown box stamped with Amazon Basin 6x52 on the side. He said he believed them to be the originals and I don't doubt it from the other stuff around and the strongly dark box. Yep - had to grab some.

Called back a week later, they looked me up, saw the mistake and apologized and tossed in extra (a lot) sticks.

Nice haul. You feel it was worth the price of admission / plan to do it again ?I clearly scored on that deal. Everything in the top pic was included for the $89 ticket. BUT - thats not the "normal" loot; Don threw in the kitchen sink for missing my order.

What I'm having trouble deciphering is what would be "normal", so dont take this as looking a gift horse in the mouth. My estimate is maybe a couple more swag items and just the loose sticks at the bottom w/o dups or trips (or the 3 five packs).

So that puts me at15 sticks +or- and some swag for the $89 - Plus on the list to buy limited and sale releases. Now, as I said before, I missed the buy date, so I can't fully comment on the "opportunities" I missed. I do know the CH release they teased were actually Pichardos. I also know they had a Provodencia Tombstone themed pack (pictured) and I beleive the Rojas Street Taco line (all gone).

TL/DR - What I got wasn't "normal" and I missed the ticket holder release, but I'll probably do it again.

I picked up some Opus Oscuro Oro and Eye if the Shark locally at a fair price about a week ago.

Gonzaga has been dominate all year, but I think Baylor is capable of beating them. Before Baylor had to stop playing due to Covid, they were just as dominate as the Zags. The layoff kind of sucked the Mojo out of Baylor and they haven't been the same team since, but they are getting close. Should be a great final.

When I got started my local b&m had a roller who made cuban sandwich sticks. I think this is something they do to use every scrap of leaf. Its not long filler but the sticks were always good. Still have a couple left

Yep. They’re mix filler but they’re $38 a bundle and really great every day smokes.
