I see one missing there. Have only heard good things, and they are expected to age well... Just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger, regrettably. I've been on a bit of a Dunbarton buying spree lately, so was holding out on those.

As for latest purchases, did catch a good sale and got some Herrera Esteli Miami on the way. Also got in a pre-order for Dunbarton Frog Juice.

The TAA's are only available at TAA retail shops. I usually get mine at 2 Guys Cigars in New Hampshire but Emerson's in VA is also TAA. Both have good websites and are good to deal with - I support 2 Guys because I listen to their Cigar Authority podcast. The TAA sticks are pretty much pre-priced and not discounted so they are the same everywhere.

Check out SmokeInn.com also. They are still currently running the promotion where you can get the box of Tatuaje TAA and get a free five pack of the Tatuaje Kaos exclusive they have. If I were able to grab them, I'd likely do it there just for that bonus. As Tony said, no one runs promotions on them. No coupon codes I've seen at any websites mistakenly work, so you're looking at a standard price across the board for the box.

Damn Chris - really upping your inventory now that Kayla hooked you up with some great humidors. All great cigars there. I try to stay under 52 myself but I'll stretch for the good ones. The Regius just show the same price for me. Still waiting and watching but I have several other things on order so they keep getting pushed further down the list :idunno:

cheaphumidors Really went above and beyond to get me set up with two very nice units. The footlocker has 6 boxes in it so far, but room for at least 7 or 8 more depending on size. The standing unit holds 500, and I’m finally past the half way point, which is good for more than one reason. Besides the obvious one of plenty of cigars to smoke, the Rh in it is finally not swinging 2 to 3 points every time I add several 5 packs or bundles. I was looking last night and I think it can comfortably fit another 150 to 175.

About the Regius, are you not seeing Lancero boxes of 15 for $160? I seem to remember them being $180 couple weeks back, perhaps I am mistaken though.

They used to be much better, but they have neglected the place. Shelves are empty, carpet is stained; just kind of run down. They could use a little bit of effort and not very much $ to make it better.

That's what my meager supply of cubans keeps doing. I inspect them from time to time, wipe off most and wipe and smoke the worst offenders. They seem to taste fine. Anyway, it's only the Cubans. All the other cigars in the same humidor are fine.

Not sure. I imagine the same vendor. I've had these same 2 boxes for probably 3 or 4 years tho so it's not a high shipping humidity issue. I moved them to an area where the temperature should be more stable. Hopefully that helps. They take a few months to develop a speckling of mold but the NCs in the same container never have a problem. All I can figure is that the NCs must be treated with an antifungal like those used in pipe tobacco whereas the CCs must not be. Maybe that's why they say to store your CCs at lower RH than NCs... but I digress... Who knows. I'm not going to fool with all that. If they mold bad enough or faster than I can wipe and smoke them, I'll shitcan them all and not buy CCs anymore.

There’s a relatively well-respected and well stocked B&M near me that I’d been meaning to check out for awhile. Went a few weeks back and immediately upon entering I was hit with blast of humidity like stepping into a Florida swamp. Took a look around and several boxes of cigars were growing nice little plumes and I got the hell outta there. The guy at the counter looked at me surprised after only being in there for 5 seconds and said, “didn’t find what you’re looking for?” And I said “nope” as I walked out the door. It will always amaze me how many cigar “aficionados” who spend so much time in a lounge can keep going back to horribly overhumidified cigars.

Don't sleep on Perdomo. They have a lot of great cigars. The 20th Anniversary series is top notch.

See I think you are being overly generous with perdomo. Now I am not a hater of their cigars but I think they are good. Perdomo was one of the first nc cigars I had before I got into cigars. 10th anny champagne.
Perdomo were some of my first bundle purchases. I bought some slow aged and some esv 2nds. Now I dont recall if I have had the 20th anny yet but I have had several of the 10th.
I just think there are better cigars at the price point perdomo wants to be in.

Hit up a different cigar shop whilst in Kentucky. An old downtown Lexington shop with a small walk in stacked floor to ceiling with cigars. Saw some of the plume you guys have seen in some shops, but I managed to find some Esteban Carreras that were plume free and looked interesting

Been awhile since I've smoked these. The Cervantes and the Eminentes have been two of my favourite sizes of the My Father lines have not smoked either recently so time get reacquainted.

Back when I had Instagram, I used to see them all the time. The best thing I've ever done is delete that app. I don't need any more encouragement to smoke cigars and I sure as hell don't need any encouragement to overspend on all the hard-to-find and exclusive offerings that Instagram cigar connoisseurs post. If that's you're thing, then by all means...go after them. I don't mean to judge. But typically what I've found when smoking exclusive and over-the-top expensive sticks is that there's no such thing as unicorns...they're made out of the same stuff as all the other ones.

Thinking of the comments made about the smell of cello,can't say that from a foot away I can pick up any sort of plastic smell.
Definitely do not get any fishy smell,that is said to be detected from some boxes.

My latest age verification snafu is with Cigar Page. They did a Scorcher on Black Friday and I plucked a few fivers. Had me put in my DOB, then said they needed last 4 of social to verify. I did and sale went through.
Got an email yesterday saying they needed me to scan my state ID and send it to them. Told 'em no way, not in today's age of ID theft, and that they've sold to me for years!
Rep emailed back and said my email wasn't in their system. I just searched my emails for their domain and did a couple thumb flicks and sent them one from 2017 (from the email they "don't have").

Sometimes its hard to give money away.
