Ok so I am on the look out for a cigar that has that HINT of sweetness. Not ACID kind of sweetness just the underlying profile of sweetness. I have a few flavor profiles I have found that I KNOW I don't like. Pepper being 1 and Grassy being another. I am looking for a natural (not flavored) cigar that is slightly sweet but not sweetened. If that makes any sense.
Help a guy out? Whatcha' thinking?
Cheers

Ever try headley grange? I get a nice, sweet tobacco, spice, and wood flavor from it. I don't know if it really qualifies as sweet, but it's definitely not peppery or grassy and tastes wonderful IMO.

Haven't had one in a little while, but if memory serves correctly, try a New World or La Sirena. Both are a chocolatey sweetness with little spice.

I seem to get some sweetness with many cigars wrapped with leaf from Ecuador. Surrogates Tramp Stamps have a bit of syrupy sweetness, but it also has a bit of spice. I get a little creamy sweetness from the EPC New Wave Connecticut. I get a similar creamy sweet profile from Davidoff 1000's.

I concur with Tim. Ecuadorian Connecticut wrappers have more sweetness than the pepper often associated with other CT wrappers. The Gran Hababo Zulu Zulu lancero would be a good example of that.

I get a spicy sweet flavor from the Room 101 Namakubi Ecuador. I get a mild nutty sweetness from the AF 858 Flor Fina with the Cameroon wrapper.

Gran Habano Cabinet Selection, chocolatey goodness, a bit of pepper, but not overpowering. Also, the Flor de Oliva Maduro if you are looking for a cheap smoke

La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Reserva. Im still developing my palate but it felt like there was an underlying sweetness to this one.

My addition would be La Gloria Cubana serie N, this was sweet and creamy and chocolatey for me.

Drew Estate Tabak Especial Dulce. It tastes like a deliciously sweet cup of creamy coffee. Not overpowering, very smooth and decadent. Defiantly worth a try.

Bahia Gold White Label is one of my favorite morning sticks. If the cigar had a better cap, I would buy another box. For a $3 stick, it is very good. I highly recommend it.
I have heard Ashton Aged Maduro is sweeter, but I have not tried it. It is on my need to try list.

I think the MJ12 Marduro and Nub Maduro have a great sweetness to them complimented by a rich flavorful cigar.

Gispert Cigars (Natural), have a distinct natural sweetness to them. When I am in the mood for something like that, their Churchill does it for me.

What about the one in your avatar? I smoked an undercrown pig last night and was met with very syrupy sweetness. I even noted to the wife that there was a really consistant underlying sweetness. I don't remember that being there in the regular undercrowns.

Well I dug in the Humidor and I found a LFD Double Ligero. I know not the same thing but it is what I had on hand. Truth be told, it was the first LFD I think I have ever had. I was blown away! All the good stuff and none of the bad! So if the Mysterio Oscuro is even closer I will be totally sold! I am going to pick up a few and try them out. Just the blend and the overall impression I had with the LFD is amazing! Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks for all the suggestions my friends. They are on my list of must trys
Cheers

I could have sworn I read this somewhere but correct my anyone if I'm wrong. The Baccarat cap is seal with some type of Indian glue which has a sweet flavor but not too sweet. I love them non the less...

Just found this description on a cigar site.
Baccarat Luchadores cigar is a perfect mix of Cocoa and Nutmeg flavors with by
a sweet toasted wheat finish. Baccarat is made of the Havana seed filler/binder with
Connecticut shade wrapper. The cigar has a mild taste that is developed by a special sealing
technique with Indian Gum.

AF Hemingway in any vitola. I'm partial to the Short Story myself.
For a good cheap sweet stick try a Pinar Del Rio Oscuro. I absolutely love them and you can get them on the devil site for $2 a stick.

On the suggestion of @Sweet_Cigars I dove head first into one I already had on hand.... and, well, just don't remember trying it before tonight.
It DID have a hint of sweetness and NO pepper of grassy. I think you are right man the glue did have a little sweetness to it as well.
Great suggestion my friend! Thank you!
Cheers

Baccarats are technically flavored since they have artificial sweetener added to the cap.
Fallen Angels are pretty tasty.

Carbonell cigars. The best hands down for a sweet cigar. Nuff' said....
