It is a mix of Maryland 609, Yenidje, and my homemade cigar Cavendish. I topped it with brandy. Once it's sliced and dried...I'll be looking for guinea pigs :)

Wow!
Maryland, oriental, and Cav... that sounds great, and the brandy sounds good too.

Excellent! BTW, got your package yesterday...and I'm starting to think that Peach and Latakia are a match made in heaven.

Pretty good if you let it sit a few months. Let me rephrase that - the tiny bit that you may succeed in retaining for up to a few months tastes better.

Hmmm, peach and Latakia. Sounds like a summer BBQ.

This is too funny as I was thinking how much I dont like peaches and not really into Latakia either lol.
I also thought about trying to make some Cavendish and the more I thought about it the more I thought I should just let someone else do it and stay out of trouble.

I'll admit I had my doubts at first. This is a collaborative effort a few of us started on Puff a while back. The flavoring was mainly Madbricky's in inspiration. Turned out quite nice. PM me your address & I can put a few slices in the mail for you.
Re making cavendish - just do it, nothing could be easier - steam, dry, jar, clean up your wife's kettle (that last part sounds like a euphenism, doesn't it?).

It still has a day or two of drying before it will be ready to burn. I'm packed up a few samples for others to try this week before I jarred it up last night.
