Hey all,

Cigars international is having a 50% off flash sale on Boveda packs and have some of the best prices I've seen on them! http://www.cigarsinternational.com/flash/big-boveda-sale/

Unfortunately I placed my order about an hour too early and missed out on this sale and can't get it added. I did get the 69% 8gram packs in my order for my traveldor and shipments/trades with other BOTL's but missed out on bulk full size packs. Hopefully my loss is y'alls gain (I didn't want to pay shipping again)!

Good luck!

As much as it pains me...it's VERY hard to resist ordering a second time today to get some boveda packs. It's just based on principle that I don't want to. Even with shipping the prices are hard to beat.

Does it make sense to use the Boveda packs in conjunction with HF beads? I have beads in my wineador right now...

You're a bad man!!!

Since you are ordering, you may as well add like a 5er, or something while you are at it. At least a single.

Yea you wouldn't want to let the cost of shipping go to waste...may as well pick up a few things while you're ordering...it's just good economics!

Bought a 20 of 65% for $35.99 plus $5.99 shipping. But added a 5'er I like to split the shipping. $52.00 on Amazon with free shipping. Thank you for heads up. I've been using 69% all winter, and humi sits at 65-67%. But with weather changing, 65s better idea. :applause:

I bought a 12 pack of 69% and a 20 pack of 65% my tupperdors tend to sit at about 2% over the rating and my desktop sits at about 2-3% under. Will use the 69%'s for the desktop and 65%'s for the tupperware moving forward!

How long can they be stored if still in original plastic?

Quite a while, and even if they dry out you can recharge them.

They should all be the brown ones now, just take a tupperware container, dump the packs in it, submerge in DW and wait 2-3 days and they are brand new again. Of course let them sit out to dry for a few hours before putting back into your cooler, tupperdor etc

Is that how they recharge?? I didn't know you could submerge them!! I sealed them in a container with a bowl of water and got NOWHERE!!

You can seal them in a container and not submerge them but use a sponge instead, the bowl of water takes FOREVER.

I have been submerging the ones that I use for the Troop Coolers without any ill effect.
