Help me design a pipe wallet. Pipe, tool, a few cleaners, matches and baccy.... thinking about using ckntajners for baccy instead of a pouch to ease change out and keep from mingling flavors.

You're going to need one hell of a pouch. I googled ckntajners and this is what came up.

What do you mean by containers? I imagine almost all pipe pouches are soft for a reason. They are meant for a couple days worth of baccy and a pipe or two, and ease of transportation is key. Any type of hard container makes the transportation much more difficult. I have a cheap one that has a small pipe pouch that has a separate tobacco pouch with 2 snaps on it and snaps to the inside of the pouch. I guess you could make multiple tobacco pouches for it, and that would fill your need. I kind of like the look of these (https://www.etsy.com/listing/225689540/leather-pipe-pouch-the-standard?ref=shop_home_feat_3). I think he makes them with custom liners sometimes, too.

Sounds like a fun project, though. I think I remember seeing some of your work on the old site with the mason jar koozie. Those were pretty darn cool.

I have a leather bag that is a little too big, it fits 4 pipes, tools, tobacco pouch etc. I'm also looking for just a chamois or soft leather pouch for a single pipe.

Personally, I don't like pouches for tobacco because I've found them to be much less sealed than I'd prefer.

Ohhh, didn't know you were going that big. That makes some sense, then. So this will be like a baccy bug out bag? Pretty cool.

I was being facetious.... Was a joke about the conexes..... No, just gonna make something to hold 2 pipes, tool , baccy and stuff. Carrying everything around in a big zip lock bag kinda sucks lol wife gave me a small makeup bag to use but hey, its a small makeup bag lol

Well I can break down the costs for ya.. Lol. Depending on the leather quality, $20-80, fittings a simple Sam Browne post is $4+, stitching if hand stitched is about $3. Depending on the machines they use.. I just bought a used tippmann stitcher $900, in have an old walking foot I may use on thin leather $300... Most of the full time leather guys probably run Cobras $3000 or Adler's $5000+. I figure I'll be $30;into my pouch before labor. Leather work is really expensive because quality leather is really exoensive, cheap side is about $180, quality sides go for $300+.

^^^this. Only a handful of my 40+ pipes are worth over $150, so as sexy as they may be, I cannot see myself buying a pouch for a couple hundred (though I do realize why the makers are justified in selling them at that price.)
