Wife's grandmother "Nana" loves me and went by the flea market today.... Here's the loot:

A pipe stand and a golf club shaped ashtray:

A WDC Wellington... stem either dropped out in her car or it's at the flea market, be heading there tomorrow.

The smaller pipe is a no-namer... at least none I can see, the rusticated beast is a GBD Rockroot Collector 195

2 ready to smoke, upper is a Savinelli De Luxe Milano 510 KS, the other one is a Ken Systems with a red lucite stem, only markings are Ken PatApld on the left and SB on the right of the stem, the mouthpiece has Ken on it. Couldn't find much info...

The mouthpieces show no chatter or teeth marks, the bowls are very clean, looks like they are refinished estate pipes and not smoked?

Nice haul! You're going to love that Savinelli. Say, I don't suppose "Nana" would like to adopt an old man. I'm clean, and I don't eat much, and ........... who am I kidding? I'm a slob and I eat like a pig, ........ Forget I mentioned it.

Nana is 90 and Papa is a WWII Pacific vet and an ole rodeo cowboy, not a nice combination ;)

One of my favorite things to do when I am out and about in a new area is hit up flea markets, antique shops, and thrift stores. You never know you will find. Some days you might get skunked, other days you may have a "Nana kinda" day.

Yeahhhh I can see how people wind up with 500000000 pipes. Wife loves flea markets so I guess I will go. I know where a nice DR Grabow Bulldog is with another decent oipe and stand for $20, gonna offer them $10 for the 2 pipes.
