View Full Version : You wash up on a deserted island....

Your ship has sunk and you've washed up on a deserted island with no hope of rescue. Coincidentally, the island maintains a year-round temperature and relative humidity that are perfect for storing cigars. Food and water are plentiful.
You look to your left and see an enormous hermetically-sealed box sitting on the beach next to you. I mean a huge box, as big as a small house.
You pry open the side of the box and out fall 250,000 torch lighters filled with fuel and 25,000 sharp stainless guillotine cutters. You peer inside the box and you see a million cigars, all exactly the same. You feel a rush of joy and relief.
What cigar is in the box?

White owl grape filled with a candela colored leafy substance.
Herrera Esteli lonsdales. I could smoke them all day, every day, any time or place.

Hahaha!!
My pick would have to be the 2014 Las Calaveras.
I have thouroughly enjoyed each and every one I've smoked. And since it was a limited release there will never be a million of them available. Ya that would be pretty much heaven.

With my luck it would be full of salt water soaked Ron Mexicos and the lighters and cutters would be all corroded into a solid mass.

The salt water might help them..

True, but I'd have to dry them out in the sun before I could light one with Piggy's glasses...

Montes, montes and more montes. Being that it is a deserted island I would think that these babies never had far to drift to get there.

To be honest....that would be my choice..maybe a swisher or philly instead...not that it matters.
Other than that, Tatuaje Noellas Reserva.

Tatuaje LaRiqueza #4. You realize when the box opens the humidity is going up just from the drooling so give them a couple days to dry a little! Enjoy

I would pick Opus A in coffins. They would age well, plus I could use the coffins to build a house, instant firewood and you could even build a Opus coffin boat if you wanted to paddle over to Thailand to bring a couple of hotties back to the island.

It changes based on the day but I think today I would say Partagas 898s and a smaller box underneath filled with Victoria Justice... "Fancy seeing you here, guess we'll have to repopulate the island, oh look a box of birth control....better not let those go to waste."
In that box, you find a gun with only 2 bullets. Coming at you in a small boat are 2 man eating cannibals and 1 lawyer.
Who do you shoot?
You shoot the lawyer twice

That's hilarious.
But seriously - As I imagine the scenario, with no one bothering me to not smoke. With the weather always conducive to smoking, and having food and water a-plenty... and a million smokes waiting to be smoked...
I'll be smoking a lot!!
That might find me preferring the Padron Natural over the Maduro. Not sure?
Of course, choosing a dyed maduro could be used to stain the white sandy beach with SOS - unless your of the same mindset as TCBSmokes of course :)

honestly, anything. I cant imagine a better way to pass the time than puffing away at some stogies.

Seriously, nothing to drink in there too?
If I had to settle for just one brand/line/vitola, it would probably have to Romeo y Julieta 1875, almost anything between 42 and 50rg. Maybe the Reserva Reals instead of the "regular" 1875s.
But I still need something to drink. My tastes are simple: either 100-percent Colombian coffee (green beans, plus a roaster, burr grinder and Mellita our-over) or Corona Ambar if there's a cold spring on the island.
