Don't hear these mentioned often and would like to explore more.
I enjoy Perdomo Habanos and am curious what other corojos you all enjoy.

Padilla? Punch? Camacho? seem to be mentioned often here:

Any new ones since 09? favorites?

Not much help to you but I literally just smoked my first Perdomo Habano and thought it was very tasty, burned nice a cool all the way to the nub, I'll keep an eye on this tread!

Crossfire makes a very nice corojo that really allows the sweetness of the wrapper to shine through.

I like pretty much anything with a Corojo wrapper. Camacho Corojo, Flor de Oliva Corojo, . . .

Im guessing your looking for wrappers but plenty of cigars use corojo in the filler. It has a peppery, cedary, malty character. Actually I have a hunch the El Oso I just finished had corojo in it. The Room 101 Namakubi Ecuador uses a corojo binder and the My Fathers La Antiquedad uses half a corojo binder.

For corojo wrapped cigars these come to mind...

Opus X Lost City
Kristoff Corojo Limitada
Tatuaje Red Label
JDN Dark Corojo
AB Prensado

*disclaimer* This is not intended to be a corrective jerk post but I was really surprised to find out that this is a Sumatra wrapper. http://rarecorojo.punchcigars.com/

And to answer the question, I love the Viaje Corojo Super Shots

Well that's not misleading

Hm. I wouldn't have guessed that Punch Rare Corojo doesn't use Corojo....

My faves are the AB Prensado, RP Edge, Camacho Corojo Limited (if you can find them). I haven't had any of my Tatuaje reds yet, but I know they'll be tasty.

Well, that's just odd marketing.

Apparently there is so little Corojo in the cigar, it is considered rare.

I have smoked several Punch RC and have enjoyed them. Last one I smoked I kept looking at the very dark wrapper and thought it had to be dyed. And now find out it doesn't have a Corojo wrapper? Kinda makes them less appealing.

They are good don't get me wrong just falsely advertised. Funny thing is that the 10th anni has a Corojo wrapper

Perdomo grand cru 2004. One of my favorites, no longer made but they pop up on the monster sometimes. I also like the Perdomo patriarch. Come to think of I think Perdomo uses a lot of corojo wrapper

Let's see, I've had only a few:

Partagas Cifuentes
Victor Sinclair Triple Corojo
La Aurora Leoninos

All I found surprisingly enjoyable, even though they were budget smokes.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like I have a lot to track down.
I wasn't aware corojo was not uncommonly used as filler too.

I just noticed the Warped Flor Del Valle is corojo and criollo with a Nica binder and wrapped in corojo.
