Drink: Poland Spring
First impressions are "Damn this is a tiny cigar" but it is well constructed and surprisingly has a nice weight to it! The cigar has no soft spots to it and has a nice rustic look to it, I am looking forward to this!
The first few puffs of this cigar bring a nice blast of pepper and spice, which was expected from the Exclusivo...the first 1/2 inch or so is just straight spice.
As we work our way into the first third of the cigar it begins to become a bit smoother with some leathery flavors peeking through as well as coffee in the background. The pepper is still hanging around though
Getting into the second third the leather takes a back seat to a richer coffee flavor, it is leaning towards a dark coffee flavor, and as you may have guessed the pepper is still sticking around in the second third. Reading some of the reviews some people get chocolate but I am not tasting it at all at this point.
Into the final third....REALLY the final third already?!? I begin to wish this cigar was a bit bigger as I am thoroughly enjoying it. At this point the cigar has become quite smooth, the spice is completely gone and the leather flavors are back in the drivers seat. The coffee flavors are still around as well.
And onto the nub we go....again I really wish this cigar was a bit bigger as I did not want to put this baby out. At the price now I don't think I would buy more of them but if by some miracle they dropped in price I would certainly snag some up! Don't hate on the screw nubber!
Again thanks to dav0 for the wonderful cigar, you are a gentleman and a scholar!
I hope you enjoyed the review and remember sit back, relax and enjoy a wonderful cigar in good health!
