Have some free time so I figured it's about time to catch up on some reviews, the next few I will apologize in advance for the pictures, seems I have dropped my little travel camera a few too many times, so it's about to bite the dust.

Drink: Red Stripe

This is another well constructed Viaje offering with some prominent veins throughout giving it a nice rustic look. Some may say three bands is a bit out of control...next is four :) I don't mind though, it is a great looking cigar, so let's get started.

The first few puffs from this cigar bring out some nice earthy tones and a slight woody flavor, nothing to crazy, I was expecting a bit of spice from the beginning but did not pick any up. Very dark ash on this cigar as well.

Getting into the first third of the cigar and BOOM....there is the spice I was waiting for. Throughout the first third of the cigar the spice took a front seat, the earthy flavors hung around in the background but the spiciness was here to make it's mark, this cigar means business.

Into the second third we go, the spicy/peppery flavors are still dominating, not overpowering but there is no doubt about it that this cigar is bringing on a wonderful spice (if you are into this type of flavor profile) As we get through the second third they do mellow out a bit but either way this has been quite an enjoyable cigar so far.

Onto the final third of the cigar the spice/pepper is still kicking but a nice leather flavor begins to pickup in the background. This cigar really shines in the final third making for a wonderful finale to an amazing cigar. This is definitely not a cigar for everyone, but if you are into spice/pepper with a nice nicotine kick (nothing crazy that will put you on your ass) this cigar is a must try....if you can find one.

And onto the nub we go....I have to thank dav0 for giving me the opportunity to give these a try, it was a wonderful cigar from start to finish! Go out and get one! And just for the last picture, here are the three bands that take up most of this cigar wrapper :)

Sit back, relax and enjoy a great cigar in good health!

Hope you enjoyed.
