Well brothers and sisters it has been quite some time since I sat down for a review, things are beginning to slow down a bit and I had some time tonight to start on my backlog of cigars I have set down to review.

As with other Viaje the construction of this cigar is great, very nice oily wrapper with no flaws that I can see. The cigar also has a nice weight to it for it's size.

The first few puffs from this cigar offer some nice peppery notes, was not expecting such a strong peppery taste from the get go but it was welcome since I have been smoking more mellow cigars as of late. This little puppy offers a ton of smoke as well for those of you that are into that!

As we progress further into the first third of the cigar a nice leathery flavor begins to take the dominate place of the spice. As many of you know that have read some of my other reviews I enjoy the leathery taste many cigars bring to the table, I am getting excited about the rest of the cigar. Nothing pretty about the ash or burn yet but that is fine with me.

As we being to get into the second third of the cigar the leather still lingers around in the background however a nice chocolate flavor has taken over. The spice is all but gone at this point but can be faintly picked up here and there. The chocolate and leather mix is very pleasant, this cigar is getting better with each puff.

As we work through the second third and into the final third of the Chiquito the wonderful leather flavors have stuck around, and the pepper is back. At this point in the cigar the leather dominates and is rounded out with a nice mellow spice. Again the cigar continues to get better and I am not looking forward to putting this cigar out.

And onto the nub we go (thanks SoCalOCMatt for the Pink Pony nubber). The cigar is going to finish with a wonderful peppery spice flavor, the leather still hints in the background but as we come to a close the spice is clearly dominant. Again no fancy ash or burn but there has not been any serious issues so far.

Another Viaje that I have enjoyed, I think they will continue to get better with age and I am looking forward to smoking another one in 3 months or so. So if you have the chance to pick a few of these up I would certainly recommend it, they make for a wonderful quick smoke. Grab a few so you can put some down, I think this will be a tremendous smoke come summertime.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a great cigar in good health!

Hope you enjoyed.
